She should apologize, but won’t.

And he should be fired, but won’t be.

Ogabe’s shock-troops are simply following orders and the countless examples set for them by the SEIU, ACORN, Code Pink and every other nutroots communist organization.

The ends justify the means, as always with the totalitarian Left.

Thank you, Barack “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun” Obama for your inability to tolerate anything that is not radically Left-wing in origin or aim.

At Monday’s annual White House Christmas party, the Barry interregnum served its guests acorn-shaped cookies, above (modeled on the right by Rep. Steve King [R-IO]).

Which is either proof that someone in the White House has a sense of humor, or, conversely, that Barry loves to flaunt all his criminal connections right in our faces.

In other news, Democrats, after putting on a show of voting to defund ACORN a while back, have now figured that the PR stunt has had the desired theatrical effect and have once again voted to resume funding ACORN thugs at our expense.

If Barry really is intent on making the American public snap, he’s going about it in the right manner.

Former Democrat strategist Pat Caddell is a brave man.

Not for appearing on Fox News with Neil Cavuto, but for having the honesty and integrity to straight up accuse the Democrats of fraud in New Jersey.  Best be careful, Pat -- this White House has an “enemies list”, don’t you know.

The money quote (sadly cut short by one key word by Cavuto) is this:

Look, when the city of Camden, and other areas that are African-American, are voting more absentee ballots than they did even with the election change in 2008, when the first African-American was a nominee, in this gubernatorial race, then I’m sorry, something is…

15 times more absentee ballots were cast in Camden this year than last year.

Apparently.

Blame where blame is due.

In what is almost surely the most pathetic news of the week, it turns out that Barry’s masterplan to escape our crushing debt burden by borrowing an even larger sum of money has been a complete bust.

The official Porkulous site – Recovery.gov – is shamelessly boasting that $16 billion of our money has so far created/saved a magnificent 30,383 jobs.

Among those States whose economies have been singlehandedly saved by Barry’s robber-baron antics are West Virginia, Connecticut and New Hampshire, where a monumental 31, 20 and 22 jobs have been created/saved.  I dread to think what would have happened to those States had Porkulous not been passed.

Why, they would certainly have succumbed to violent revolution had those tens of jobs not been heroically saved.

At a cost of $532,000 per job.

By the way, this $16 billion is only a small slice of the $339 billion awarded in federal contracts.  So where the eff did the rest of that money go?  To the UAW?  SEIU?  ACORN?  Code Pink?  Greenpeace?  George Soros?  IBT?  ACLU?

So long as Porkulous doesn’t result in people overtly losing jobs (which it well could, given that the money that Barry is spraying around is therefore not available to meet private sector borrowing demands, which consequently means that they could be at risk of going under), anything else will be claimed as vindication of Barry’s insanely stupid decision to spend another $1 trillion on a vain exercise in public relations.

When will.  People learn.  That the.  Government cannot.  Create wealth/jobs.

If you find yourself repeating this (AGAIN) to statists/socialists/misnomered “liberals”, then try saying it in sentences of two words.  Maybe – just maybe – it might have a slightly better chance of getting through to them.

Don’t be deceived by the nice smile, colorful clothes and pleasant pic (well, ignoring the huge “ACORN” logo emblazoned across its top for a brief moment).

For this is the dreaded Bertha Lewis, the criminal mastermind at the top of ACORN’s mafioso hierarchy.

Since becoming CEO last year, Lewis has boasted that, “‘I’ve completely overhauled all of our finances, all of our controls.”

I’d say.

Because on top of everything else that’s happened with regard to ACORN recently, it now transpires that the IRS and Louisiana’s taxmen have imposed nearly $2 million in liens against ACORN for failing to fork over taxes at its New Orleans national headquarters.

The sh*tstorm that’s engulfing ACORN is proof of the good Lord’s existence and his love for smiting the wicked.  If one term of Barry is the price to be paid for smashing ACORN past the point of recovery, then it’s almost worth it.  ACORN is a cancer eating away at an already terminal body politic and it’s obliteration will do nothing but good.

Of course, Barry could bail out his old pals.

But if he has any political intelligence at all – which is one of the very few things we can safely say that he doesn’t lack -, then he’ll jump straight on this bandwagon and prosecute ACORN with the full force of the law.  This would reassure a great many people who are getting rather antsy about Barry’s relentlessly socialist agenda, and allow him to once again falsely portray himself as a moderate.

Knowing Barry as we do, though, he’ll sit on the fence and play it safe, losing support from both sides when he could have guaranteed it from one.

This administration is unraveling quicker than I’ve ever witnessed before, anywhere.  And that includes Italy, which drops governments more frequently than Paris Hilton does boyfriends.  There is a lesson here (well, there are lots of ‘em but let’s just focus on one), Democrats, and it is this: do not elect someone with the mental age of a teenager to the highest office in the land.

Ever again.  Please.

I need your help on this one.

Please (please please) tell me that Washington DC is the most far-left city in America.  I know that it’s not as immediate a choice as Chicago, New York or San Francisco, but it is bordered by Maryland and northern Virginia, two liberal enclaves whose residents pour into and out of DC every day, and it is the lair of the federal government and all those who worship at that false idol’s altar.

That and the fact that 97 percent (!) of DC voters went for Barry last November.

So, needless to say, that when I go out in DC it’s very frequently with liberals.  I’ve learned not to bring up politics too often myself, partly because I don’t want to humiliate liberals who think that Obama is so wonderful, quote because-even-Europe-loves-him unquote, and partly because I don’t want to incur my wife’s wrath.

But when other people raise the issue, then it’s fair game.

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of hanging out with a member of the AFL-CIO, a proletariat at Al Gore’s climate hysteria NGO (I can’t remember what it’s called and am not going to waste any time searching for its name) and an aide to a certain well-known and much-despised – by both sides – member of the Senate.

And this friend – for he is a good guy and a good friend – went on the quick-boil when I told him that the town hall meetings are, in my opinion, spontaneous outpourings of individual anger.  Nonsense, he replied, they’re all organized by Hannity, Limbaugh, etc.

While saying this, he denied that Democrats are the masters of this dark art.  Hello Code Pink, ACORN, MoveOn.org, George Soros, Greenpeace, AFL-CIO, UAW, Teamsters, SEIU, etc?  He was particularly aggrieved by the frequently uncivil nature of the town halls, but wouldn’t concede that this is how Democrats act every time that a Republican president is elected.  He denounced those carrying Obama/Hitler signs (who we know were Democratic/Lyndon LaRouche plants) and denied that the old BusHitler chestnut was the same thing.

Worst of all, he could not conceive of how ordinary people would be against a policy that will deprive them of their choice, their money and, very possibly, their health and life.  In his mind, as in Barry’s, there is no counter-argument.

And this is the problem.  For socialists, there is never another side to the story.  I accept that other people have different opinions to mine, but I dislike that these views are often uninformed.  For those on the Left, it is far easier – they simply resent each and every divergent view.

This is a necessity for them.  There is no logic, no evidence, no intelligence behind any of their proposals.  In the absence of anything to support their views, the only path open to socialists to defend their actions is to take offense at being disagreed with and quickly proceed to slander their opponents.  They cannot argue persuasively on the issue itself, so they argue with the person.

Conservative are confident enough in their own values that disagreement will not shatter their fragile world view.  But liberals are not.  Hence the jolly game of let’s call conservatives “racists”, “fascists” and “fear-mongers” every time that they oppose anything put forward by The One.

Unfortunately, just as there will always be stupid people, so will there always be a stupid party to represent them.

Robert Groves, above, was yesterday confirmed by the Senate as director of the US Census Bureau, after more than a month of objections from Republicans.

Thus do we start to see the effect of Al Franken and the other 59 Democratic Senators, as any momentary thoughts of moderation capitulate to a full leftwards lurch.

Aside from his propensity to use statistical sampling (not good), there doesn’t seem to be much damning evidence of potential lunacy of Grove’s behalf.

Except…

That ACORN fully supports his confirmation.

With friends like ACORN, there is guaranteed to be something nefarious lurking in his past, just waiting to be exposed.

Watch this space.

Boy, can the media do its job or what?

Sure, they can’t be bothered to find out anything about Barry’s time at universities, nor his sojourn as a community organizer, his links with ACORN, his ties to terrorists, racists and communists, his dealings with Mayor Daley and the rest of the poker crew up in Chicago, or any of the rest of the small stuff, but don’t sweat it.

Because they’re pouring their energy into finding out whether Michelle Obama paid a mere $875 or a mega $5,950 for an Italian VBH  handbag.

VBH itself, justly proud of the First Wifey’s excess, says that it’s the real deal.  Or they did, at least, until the White House stated the opposite, whereupon VBH corrected their statement, saying that Michelle’s was indeed the cheaper variant, a much more economical $900. 

Good job the White House cleared that up for them.  After all, how could VBH be expected to recognize one of their very own designs?

As nice a combination as this bag indubitably makes with her $540 sneakers, I still think that it would’ve been wiser to spend this type of money on more suitable clothes for both herself and her daughter.

But no matter how much is spent, one cannot buy class.

Oh, snap!

Yeah, these two, but ACORN as well.  I’ll put my rudimentary photo-combining skills to brief use after writing this post and try to wangle something ACORN-y into the shot as well.

Hold on to your hats, because (more) evidence is now emerging that Sotomayor is a serial follower-of-wingnut-groups.

Not content with her membership of the insane National Council of La Raza, it appears likely that Sotomayor also worked on behalf of ACORN during her time with the Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund (another group that, as you tell from the name, really concerns itself with the whole spectrum of people in America).

Is there nothing in public life in which ACORN is not involved?

Forget Quantum or S.P.E.C.T.R.E. – ACORN should be the nefarious criminal enterprise giving James Bond the run around.

Just kidding.

This’ll make you weep.

We all know that the 2010 Census is going to become a hideously partisan tool to keep the Democrats in power for as long as possible.  We also know that criminal enterprises such as ACORN are going to be the ringleaders for this mass deception.

But it gets even better.  Canada Free Press has a pants-cr*ppingly terrifying piece about the census here.

The Census is going to be more invasive than a full body cavity search.  It will empower the government to pry into areas where it has no right of access and no need of information.

Unless, that is, you’re Barack Obama.  This census will give a more detailed picture of every day life in America than has yet been accomplished.

And after that’s completed, then the fun really begins.

Because once Barry has this record, work will begin leveling down every day life to the lowest common denominator.  Socialists always prefer this route because it is so much easier than trying to raise everyone’s standard of living.  Why do all that heavy lifting when you can just destroy wealth and impose the equal sharing of misery in its stead?

Let’s return to those groups that’ll carry out the Census.  They include such luminaries as:

ACORN, 100 Black Men of America, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, Arab American Institute, Asian and Pacific Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage, Boat People SOS (?), Hispanic Federation, Fundacion Azteca, Latino Justice PDLDEF, Mas New Mexico, National American Indian Housing Council, NAACP National Voter Fund, National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, National Black Justice Coalition, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Minority AIDS Council, National Puerto Rican Coalition, Rainbow Push Coalition, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Voto Latino, amongst many, many others.

Do you notice the one thing that unifies those otherwise fairly disparate groups?

That’s right, they constitute just about every stratum of the historically oppressed!  Score!

Too bad so sad if you’re white, conservative or Christian – you’re just SOL, boy.
