As sure as the fact that we’ll never see Obama’s birth certificate (nor any of his school records, nor his Illinois State Senate records, nor anything else that could possibly contain any actual information about the man himself) is the inevitability that the “loans” to GM were really “gifts.”
If you couldn’t see that one coming, then please stop reading my blog and go away.
So how does this work?
The United Auto Workers union (UAW) receives Chrysler all wrapped up in a bow. We, the people, have to own GM. Who gets the next troubled car company? Is there a lottery system? Is Jeremiah Wright in it to win it?
And what do we do with it now (aside from shovel vast amounts of taxpayer money into it, never to be seen again)?
Is it even possible to re-gift a car company?
[Note: I nearly achieved it with this post, but I'll soon have a post comprised of nothing but rhetorical questions. Just you wait and see.]

Or, more accurately but less concisely, “Dictatorship Of Those Who Claim To Represent The Proletariat But In Fact Do Not At All.”
See why I went with the other title now?
The stunning scenery above is Black Lake Golf Club in Onaway, MI.
Nothing unusual there. Golf courses are rarely cesspits. But let’s look a little deeper…
And discover that it’s owned by the UAW. This must be where UAW dunces like to relax after all their hard work facilitating the collapse of the once-great American auto industry.
No wonder unions want to prevent their members from finding out how their hard-earned dues are (mis)spent. The president, working through Big Labor’s tame lackey Hilda Solis, is quickly doing everything in his power to reward his paymasters.
Not that the UAW needs it. With net assets reportedly worth an estimated $1.23 billion, despite a declining membership, it must be doing something right…
