Track-A-’Crat: The Roll Call of Democratic Delinquency

Health and Human Services head honcho Kathleen Sebelius (who, aside from advancing the cause of socialism in the US, enjoys evading taxes and siphoning taxpayer money off to cronies) here achieves the remarkable feat of telling us all that we need to know about the Democratic view of government through a single physical movement.

That is, by demonstrating to the great unwashed how to cough “properly.”

Why is this so revealing, I hear you ask?

Because it is proof, once again, that Democrats think that we, the people, are entirely incompetent (ha!) and cannot figure out for ourselves how to do a single thing, even of the immense complexity of coughing.  And there I was, thinking that it was an involuntary motion, much akin to breathing.

But, of course, the Democrats have figured out a new and improved way of doing it.  So much for what I know.

Whether the intended audience was children or adults, it makes no difference.  This is condescending, patronizing and paternalistic government of the worst kind, seeking to control everything that we do.

Must we now be taught how to cough?

Will there be a new category of non-jobs created solely for the inspection and approval of personal coughing techniques?

For those of us with a sense of history, this will be familiar, as ever.  The MaObama administration is hardly the first to covet control of matters as large as the economy and as small as the way we cough (in addition to everything in-between).

Next thing we know, they’ll be ordaining a government-approved way in which we are to greet each other in the street.

Think I’m joking?

It’s happened before.

Kathleen Sebelius, President Obama’s HHS nominee, paid less tax than she should have done for the years 2005-07.

She has now, belatedly, made up the arrears.

For a party whose sole raison d’etre is seemingly the creation of taxes, the collection of taxes and the spending of taxes, the Democrats are doing a bang up job of discrediting the need to pay them.

Please excuse the lack of humor in this post – as Sebelius is the 374th Obama nominee to have tax amnesia, it’s pretty hard to make with the funnies.

Plus I’ve just eaten, and that always impedes the faculties.

Hmm.  This story is reminiscent of this one.  And many others.

Lenexa, KS, based Community Living Opportunities received $712,000 in extra Medicaid funds last year, while pals of SHHS-nominee Kathleen Sebelius were entirely coincidentally serving on CLO’s board.

Funds were available for CLO despite other service providers being told that no extra money was available to them.

And despite the fact that CLO’s pockets were deep enough to concomitantly pay for the development a $400,000, 40-acre ranch in nearby Douglas County.

A blind man could see the mismatch here.

If confirmed, Kathleen Sebelius will handle Medicaid payments for the whole country.  Gives you confidence, doesn’t it?
