Track-A-’Crat: The Roll Call of Democratic Delinquency

The bouffanted freakshow above is one John Holdren.

We will all become far too familiar with him as Obama’s resident mad scientist.  Yes, he’s another czar, one more addition to the roster of people who have power over us but shouldn’t.

Johnny-boy deserves particular scorn for a book that he co-authored in 1977, entitled Ecoscience.

Whereas Obama’s more youthful musings are recognizably juvenile and underdeveloped, Holdren shoots off into orbit with his crazed rantings.

To wit, his book advocates:

* Women could be forced into abortions, against their wishes.

* The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally secreted into the nation’s drinking water.

* Single and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them and given away to other couples.

* People who “contribute to social deterioration… can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility.”

* A transnational “Planetary Regime” with an armed international police force.

So he’s clearly a moderate, then.

1977 was a fair while ago.  But, judging by the views he held back then, it’s only given Holdren more time to incubate crazier ideas still.

I can’t even imagine what they might be.

PS – His official titles are (deep breath)… Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.  Who needs that many?  This here ain’t feudal China.
