This evening, June 2, Williams and NBC began their slobberfest “Inside the White House.”  Ostensibly, it’s a behind-the-scenes look at goings-on in the corridors of power.

In reality, it’s the latest episode of the media’s new job – conducting PR work propaganda on behalf of Obama.

Remember mustardgate?  The point there was not that POTUS likes Dijon mustard on his burgers (freak), but that the press omitted this detail from their reports, out of fear that it might harm his carefully constructed image, and, more importantly, that his eating a burger was even reported in the first place – BECAUSE IT’S NOT NEWS.

Remember also Obama’s smoking addiction?  Oh, that’s right, you don’t.  Because the media never mentioned it.

Likewise, why was he not openly mocked, à la the 43rd president, for claiming that Austrian is a language, that the US comprises 57 states and for denigrating the Special Olympics?

How about Obama’s links to racists, terrorists and criminals?  These were too serious for the press to ignore totally, but they nevertheless could (and did) relegate them to minor pieces.

The mainstream media will not allow even one perfect hair on its golden goose to be harmed.

And if that entails the suppression of facts both small and large, then it must only be for our own good.

Trust them.

I wish that I could wish Ebola upon Time Magazine.

But, it not being a person, I cannot.  So the next best thing is to hope for a complete and imminent collapse of the sordid publication.

In 2008, Barack Obama graced the cover of TIME 16 times.  Seeing as TIME’s a weekly publication, that means that Obama featured on almost one-third of its covers in 2008.

Whereas John McCain made the cover six whole times (four of which were shared) in 2008.

But they’ve let things slip in 2009 – The One has only been on TIME’s cover four times so far this year, plus one appearance for wifey.  Best get on that right away, TIME.

As is so mind-numbingly clear, the Obamas are a license to print money.

And the MSM will not let its golden goose be harmed.

When he’s not eating (and I can’t imagine that leaves too much time leftover), Alec Baldwin apparently likes to pick up the NYT.  And carry it.  And sometimes even read it.

He has a piece in the Huff n’ Puff today, and it’s clearly only there because of his celebrity status.  It cannot be because of his writing skills.

Using short sentences every so often is an effective way of adding impact to what you’re writing.

But using short sentences for every sentence means that you’re not very clever.  At all.  Bearing in mind that this piece was probably the culmination of weeks, if not months, of strenuous concentration, let’s be generous of spirit and give Alec an A for effort.

For the first time, I couldn’t find a (real) photo of the post’s subject looking foolish.  Every single one I looked at had Rick Sanchez flashing the full cheesy grin and that’s it.

So here’s a photo of Rick with an hermaphrodite, instead.

Uber-left winger that he is, Rick, bless ‘im, has immense difficulty in separating simple truths from ridiculous conspiracy theories.

When talking about the terrible murder of three police officers in Pittsburgh earlier this month, Sanchez had the mother of all brain-farts and announced that the killer,

“… was convinced, after no doubt watching Fox News and listening to right-wing radio, that quote, ‘Our rights were being infringed upon.’”

What?  Why are these people held up as intellectual powerhouses?  Sure, his reading-out-loud skills are without dispute but, other than that, my porridge has more to say of value than this cretin.

Some things are just intuitive.

You don’t have to think about breathing (at least, I hope you don’t), the sky will not fall down and the mainstream media is stunningly liberal and proud of it.

Just to emphasize the third point, RSM at The Other McCain has the dirt on the latest NYT cover-up to be exposed.

Last October, the NYT killed a story that would have established a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign, fearing that it would endanger the success of The One.

Hmm, why would the Obama campaign not want to be associated with ACORN?  Don’t they just fight for the downtrodden and oppressed?

The sooner I can spit on the grave of the mainstream media, the better.

James Carville (the director’s choice for Skeletor in the upcoming He-Man live action movie) is a bona fide egregia cum laude.

At a Democratic fundraiser yesterday, he stated, ”I’ve always said politics is like the circus:  the worst job is cleaning up after the elephants.  We’re just beginning to find out how true that is.”

Politics – circus – elephants – Republicans – dung – past policies – hope’n'change.  Ahh, I get it now.  Is that a laugh I feel coming on?  Is it?  I think it might be…

You’ll notice that I haven’t insulted anyone directly in any posts yet on this website (well, except perhaps for Chas Freeman, whom I insinuated -- or kinda stated -- dropped out of the running so that he could spend more time eating).

But I can help it with this one… President Obama is a dork.

The arrogance of the man is breathtaking.  Do you remember him stating that, “I think I’m a pretty cool dad,” or “People think I’m cool”?

Who does that?

And now his quick-wittedness has led him to mock the Special Olympics.

Remember how the media laughed off Joseph Lowery’s racist inauguration prayer?

What’s happening at the New York Times?

First, David Brooks goes (briefly) rogue, then one of their reporters asks President Obama this.

If I were to repeatedly drink out of public urinals, I would be called “disturbed”, “unwell” or, at most, “challenged.”  A more true label would be, and I think this is the technical term, “mental.”

So if someone thinks of little else other than expanding the scope of the government, increasing federal revenues and spending vast, unaffordable sums, what would you most accurately call that person?

Trying…. not to gag…. Newsweek coverage…. making me sick….

Tell you what, Newsweek, sycophantic coverage of President Obama and everything in his extended orbit is not going to boost your sales: it is making your publication a laughing stock (although TIME Magazine’s still way out in front in that regard).

Particularly statements like this one: Desiree Rogers (the White House social secretary),

is at once sociable and cool, not unlike the Obamas.

Keith Olbermann, I’m going to ascribe the “Oh, God” comment to you based on past form (although Chris Matthews is almost as strong a contender).

Believe it or not, many conservatives have a soft spot for you, Keith, as you’re frequently a source of much humor.  Like your on-air spat with Chris Matthews (who else?) over which of you loved then Senator Obama the most.
