Track-A-’Crat: The Roll Call of Democratic Delinquency

At Monday’s annual White House Christmas party, the Barry interregnum served its guests acorn-shaped cookies, above (modeled on the right by Rep. Steve King [R-IO]).

Which is either proof that someone in the White House has a sense of humor, or, conversely, that Barry loves to flaunt all his criminal connections right in our faces.

In other news, Democrats, after putting on a show of voting to defund ACORN a while back, have now figured that the PR stunt has had the desired theatrical effect and have once again voted to resume funding ACORN thugs at our expense.

If Barry really is intent on making the American public snap, he’s going about it in the right manner.

Don’t be deceived by the nice smile, colorful clothes and pleasant pic (well, ignoring the huge “ACORN” logo emblazoned across its top for a brief moment).

For this is the dreaded Bertha Lewis, the criminal mastermind at the top of ACORN’s mafioso hierarchy.

Since becoming CEO last year, Lewis has boasted that, “‘I’ve completely overhauled all of our finances, all of our controls.”

I’d say.

Because on top of everything else that’s happened with regard to ACORN recently, it now transpires that the IRS and Louisiana’s taxmen have imposed nearly $2 million in liens against ACORN for failing to fork over taxes at its New Orleans national headquarters.

The sh*tstorm that’s engulfing ACORN is proof of the good Lord’s existence and his love for smiting the wicked.  If one term of Barry is the price to be paid for smashing ACORN past the point of recovery, then it’s almost worth it.  ACORN is a cancer eating away at an already terminal body politic and it’s obliteration will do nothing but good.

Of course, Barry could bail out his old pals.

But if he has any political intelligence at all – which is one of the very few things we can safely say that he doesn’t lack -, then he’ll jump straight on this bandwagon and prosecute ACORN with the full force of the law.  This would reassure a great many people who are getting rather antsy about Barry’s relentlessly socialist agenda, and allow him to once again falsely portray himself as a moderate.

Knowing Barry as we do, though, he’ll sit on the fence and play it safe, losing support from both sides when he could have guaranteed it from one.

This administration is unraveling quicker than I’ve ever witnessed before, anywhere.  And that includes Italy, which drops governments more frequently than Paris Hilton does boyfriends.  There is a lesson here (well, there are lots of ‘em but let’s just focus on one), Democrats, and it is this: do not elect someone with the mental age of a teenager to the highest office in the land.

Ever again.  Please.

Well, at least ACORN can’t be accused of hiding its agenda.

Criminals get caught because they are stupid.

ACORN (members) will get caught because it (they) is (are) stupid.

ACORN has already been under investigation in 14 States by the FBI for its not-so-legal activity.

And here’s the latest charge against ‘em.  You can be sure that there’s more where that came from.

My only question is how long it’ll be before the Acorn-In-Chief decides to “dissuade” the authorities from continuing their investigations…

There’s nothing like retrospective confirmation to make one feel both vindicated and impotent.

Such as this news out of Detroit.

The city has more registered voters than it has residents over the voting age of 18.

How could this possibly be?  Aside from a mass occurrence of sudden schizophrenia, it’s pretty safe to say that ACORN and its ilk had a fairly large hand in this alarming development.

Democrats are already agitating to extend the franchise to illegal immigrants, so, heck, why can’t the deceased/made-up people/felons vote too?

Now imagine Detroit being replicated throughout the USA (awful thought, I know, but be brave).

Some things are just intuitive.

You don’t have to think about breathing (at least, I hope you don’t), the sky will not fall down and the mainstream media is stunningly liberal and proud of it.

Just to emphasize the third point, RSM at The Other McCain has the dirt on the latest NYT cover-up to be exposed.

Last October, the NYT killed a story that would have established a close link between ACORN, Project Vote and the Obama campaign, fearing that it would endanger the success of The One.

Hmm, why would the Obama campaign not want to be associated with ACORN?  Don’t they just fight for the downtrodden and oppressed?

The sooner I can spit on the grave of the mainstream media, the better.

Global warming/climate change/weather-as-an-excuse-for-socialism advanced from being a rabidly far-left fringe issue to a central political issue within a matter of years.

I’d never previously seen so meteoric a political rise.

Until the ascent of President Obama.  And his partner-in-crime, ACORN.

ACORN must be incontinent with joy, as pointed out by Gateway Pundit, who always gets the goods.  One of their organizers (and don’t you forget that Jesus, according to the Left, was a community organizer too) occupies the nation’s highest office and is gorging ACORN on taxpayer money.

The latest feast will take place under the misnomered GIVE Act.

The Senate (including various so-called Republicans) voted against an amendment by Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), that would have prohibited federal volunteer funds from going to ACORN and its affiliates.

Now sit back and watch in awe as unelected and unaccoutable “community organizations” throughout the land assume the responsibilities – and rewards – of government.

President Obama, in his infinite wisdom, is allowing ACORN to become involved with the next US Census.

The chances of the census remaining apolitical before this development were slim: they are now non-existent.

The pariah group known as ACORN is wasting no time in consolidating its influence with the White House.

And not only in the US.  RBO here expounds the nightmarish scenario that is ACORN International.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

And ACORN.

Should’ve seen this one coming (credit to RBO).

As if ACORN wasn’t worrisome enough already.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not thrilled that President Obama has already spent a sum equal to two years’ worth of the federal budget (or three, depending on your math) in the space of a month.

Nor that ACORN and similar groups will be able to “compete” for a share of that (our) money.  And please don’t state that the funds are for specific programs, such as housing rehabilitation.

Money is fungible.  Especially when the sum is $1,000,000,000,000.

Remember all those conversations you had with people about ACORN?  How they insisted that ACORN suffered from gross misrepresentation and was in fact an entirely altruistic organization?

Bet they never mentioned (or even acknowledged) that investigations were launched into ACORN in 14 States.  By the FBI.  And that ACORN employees were convicted of voter registration fraud in numerous States.

Sure, they retorted that the Republican Party engages in the same behavior.  Yeah?  Well name me one group specifically, then.  Just one. Any one will do.

No can do?  Thought so.
