Don’t Say You Weren’t Warned
In light of the Democrats’ recent losses in New Jersey and Virginia, the switcheroo of Rep. Parker Griffith, the retirements of various incumbents (before the voters could turf them out) and the fatal unpopularity of other big beasts of the Left, consistently atrocious polling for both their leader and his policies, and now the potentially glorious defeat of Martha Coakley in Massachusetts (!), let’s take a little look back at a piece published last month in The Washington Post by William M. Daley.
Daley warned that,
Either we plot a more moderate, centrist course or risk electoral disaster not just in the upcoming midterms but in many elections to come.

All that is required for the Democratic Party to recover its political footing is to acknowledge that the agenda of the party’s most liberal supporters has not won the support of a majority of Americans — and, based on that recognition, to steer a more moderate course on the key issues of the day, from health care to the economy to the environment to Afghanistan.
Daley, who possesses an immense advantage over nearly all other Left-wingers by not being totally blind to reality, concluded that,
The leaders of the Democratic Party need to move back toward the center — and in doing so, set the stage for the many years’ worth of leadership necessary to produce the sort of pragmatic change the American people actually want.
Even Barry’s impenetrable self-belief should be shaken by this. Rather than chart a new course, however, Zero is obstinately sticking to his (replica) guns, tossing aside all criticism and courageously persevering with his cultural revolution.
Nothing has discredited the Left more often than itself: thank you for being the latest non-entity to play the role of self-defeating tool to perfection, Barry.

The problem with Barry is he is an egomaniac. Combine that with his radical beliefs and you have what we are seeing today. A man that cannot come to terms that he or his policies might not be as popular as he believes. He truly embraces the crap he shovels and is using strong arm tactics to bully the rest of his party towards his radical agenda. He is so self centered he cannot even step outside of himself and see that his policies and actions are actually doing is destroying the Democratic Party for years to come. And old Nancy and scary Harry aren’t helping his cause.

I say let them keep doing what they’re doing. They’re killing themselves, they do this every time. They get into office and start trying to rearrange everything radically and not listen to the people and then they get their asses handed to them and they never learn. I don’t care if I ever see another dem president as long as I live after this fuckhead. I still hope he falls down a gaddamned open manhole cover that his SS bodyguards intentionally left open. He’d never see it what with his nose stuck up in the air the way it is all the time.
