The opposite should be the case, though. Were I a lawyer, I would take as many cases prosecuting corrupt politicians as possible, ensure that they were all jailed, then run on that platform. Run on an anti-corruption plank, chuck in some tax-cutting and government-slicing on the side, and that candidate would be invincible. Exactly, Arby.
