Friends Of The Earth (But Not Obama)

I love the smell of trepidatious communists in the morning.
Barry wee-wee’d off the Right with his incessant socialism. Then he wee-wee’d off the Center with his fixation on big government and big taxes. And now – oh joy of joys – he’s even succeeding in wee-weeing off the Left.
Friends of the Earth’s supreme enviromaniac, Erich Pica, has slammed Zero, saying that:
Ha!
Copenhagen just gets better and better. We have Russia accusing the UK’s Meteorology Office of manipulating the “data” behind the AGW hoax, and China steadfastly refusing to consider an agreement that will damage its economy. African nations are p*ssed about a plan by the democracies to force them to do more in the Global War on Carbon, beyond simply taking our money and lavishing it all on new palaces/Mercedes/weapons for themselves. It increasingly appears that Barry has staked his credibility on another trip abroad to achieve precisely nothing.
And, outside of the conference halls where the world’s leaders conspire to rob us blind, lots of enviro-loons have received a taste of good, old-fashioned law and order, all against the backdrop of possibly the first white Christmas in Denmark in 14 years.
Barry has precious little time to achieve anything substantive before the Republicans slash the Democrat’s stranglehold on power next year (and he’s wasting it on pointless PR exercises like this). Once that happens, his whole agenda, his fervent desire to make the rich poor, and the poor poorer, is gone. Barry is incapable of doing a Clinton and moderating himself, having never known anything other than the deepest, darkest recesses of the far-Left.

“The humbling of the most hubristic man on the planet awaits us.”
I can’t wait. A terribly difficult lesson for those who drank the KoolAid. For the rest of us, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

A delightful serving of shadenfreude! Personally, I’m still enjoying the image of thousands of global warming alarmists freezing their buns off in U.N. lines.

Well, if there’s one thing I can do it’s win an argument. I defended the indefensible and I won! Now, what to do next?

I can’t wait to see the MSM and the left (I know, they’re the same thing)try to defend this steaming pile of fail. I may just make some popcorn and enjoy the spin.

Taiwan has always been a potential bargaining chip. Never would China allow Taiwan remain free and independent, but they would (for a price) not decimate the entire island.
Along the lines of Copenhagen, climategate, total stupidity I found an interesting article from a Seattle blog. I mentioned it here: http://www.thepalination.com/2009/12/house-warming-global-warming.html

I usually prefer the smell of bacon in the morning, but I’m willing to give trepidatious communists a try first thing tomorrow.
I do like where you are getting your news from, especially seeing as how today I spied a TIME from last week with a whining Joe Klein article bellyaching about how we haven’t given O’s policies enough time to work fully. (…which is exactly what we are trying to avoid, Joe.)
How can people see things so differently? I can’t get over the wackiness in this world.

“How can people see things so differently? I can’t get over the wackiness in this world.”
I agree Kitty.
What do you suggest Kitty, cut taxes for the rich again? De-regulate some more? Get government out of our lives? Increase defense spending 50 percent? Didn’t we do this the last 8 years, to disastrous results?

RayGun, you silly ninny. Describe the “disastrous results” during the past eight years (I’m assuming you’re blaming GW Bush, but maybe you’re blaming Michael Moore and I’m just not getting your humor). Bush did make mistakes (name 1 president who didn’t, dare ya), but for 7-1/2 years, we all enjoyed a booming economy, low unemployment, technology advances, tax cuts, decent times overall (unless you’re a liberal, which means you whine if a Republican is in office, and you whine if a Democrat is in office.” Even the “poor” of America are among the richest people in the world. We have safety nets to help people who are down and out, but most Americans are sick and tired of the growing welfare/government-run mentality Obama is implementing. And which we will pay dearly for.
Succinctly put: Free market principles work, socialism doesn’t. History proves it (although Obama is frequently rewriting history, and wears rose-colored glasses by giving himself a B+ for his lack of backbone, experience, and performance).
If you feel compelled to continue to snivel and grouse about Bush, I think you’ll need to invest in plenty of Kleenexes if Dear Leader Obama and his socialist cronies get their way with dismantling the Constitution and destroying the very fabric of what makes America the shining jewel she is. Libs are typically rather weak when the going gets tough, and “your guy” is determined to make things as tough as possible on Americans. How dare we don’t redistribute our hard-earned personal wealth… how dare we don’t reward underachievement with ceaseless entitlement freebies. Can’t wait to see what his plans are to make the Super Bowl more “fair” and socialist.

What do you suggest horses ass (ClassicFilm) go back to the old days, cut taxes for the rich again? De-regulate some more? Get government out of our lives? Increase defense spending 50 percent? Didn’t we do this the last 8 years, to disastrous results?
Comon CF, get over your RayGun,Palin,w,fetish. Times have changed. Get over the old times, old timer.

Ray Gun, None of my solutions are practical as I live in a dreamworld. Banning lobbyists and completely changing campaign finance regulations would be a start. Then we vote out everyone presently in congress and start over.
All I know is we have it backwards, as presently: “We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to public office.” Aesop
