I still don’t quite totally fully believe that he was a pedo, mostly because I’m fairly sure that he had his you-know-what surgically removed at some point or another (c’mon! It’s not like he ever used it!).
But things like this do give me pause for thought.
Then again, I can easily imagine Barry being vainglorious enough to commission his next state portrait to include little asexual cherubs floating around his head…

That is some weird shit. Makes you wonder about the psyche of Jackson – all those portraits of himself dressed as other people. None of him as himself. Always a characterization of himself.
I’d say it was sad except that I’m sure he was a pedophile.

As you say, Kris, very revealing that the portraits were always of him as someone else. Not a fantastic sign of an entirely balanced mind.
Arby, yeah, I know. I’d still like to be able to listen to some of his music, though… And his apparent asexuality probably provided the perfect cover for whatever did happen.

Michael didn’t paint it and even if he did why do people think of michelangelo’s paintings as being so great, yet when we put michael jackson’s name next to it, we think it’s a bit ‘pedo’? lol
Those paintings represents his perception of the peaceful nature of the world where he is free from man made obscenities…something he always tried to bring in ,throughout his life.

Art is art. This is hardly the first painting that’s been done of men and cherubs. Galleries throughout the world are full of them. But because it’s Michael Jackson, it’s considered fair game by you lot to attack him again. Have a look at some of Picasso’s work. Now that makes my skin crawl. And what about on a slightly differnt tangent…Roman Polanski…now that is a pedo rapist. How about you lot start having a go at him. And Woody Allen while we’re at it. But do your homework before you make these ridiculous comments about MJ.

Picasso’s work is odd, that’s true. Yet he was never accused of being a pedophile.
There is something creepy about someone commissioning that much artwork, all of themselves. It speaks about his mindset, which was clearly disconnected from any kind of meaningful reality.

Don’t feed the trolls! They spend their pathetic days scouring the ‘net in search of comments that offend them. Then they hit and run, insulting anyone who has an opinion. I find it hysterically funny that neither of these losers read any of this blog before they posted their drivel in defense of MJ.
You wanna debate art? Bring it on. I’m a fine artist and I will tell you that MJ was wacked. Those paintings have nothing to do with art and everything to do with his narcissistic, self-absorbed obsession with being someone other than himself. He was a deeply disturbed personality who surrounded himself with children. No grown man sleeps in the same bed with little boys and then says it is all innocent. Of course, the parents of the children involved need to take responsibility for their own involvement in pimping out their children for financial gain. The whole thing makes me sick.

I sleep with my dogs, cats, with my son when he was younger, with my Dad my brother and guess what…had sex with none of them. Gee isn’t that amazing. And I’m neither a pedo nor a victim of incest and have a son who has great relationships with females and my pets are all as happy as can be. By societal parameters I should have having with the of them or been screwed by the lot of them I’m bored with all you folk who simply adhere to a life that is ordinary and common…It’s a big yawn.

Track -A -’Crat. Indeed. Family. But my husband used to be the most sought after babysitter in our playgroup when the children were small and guess what? He did cuddle up with all the kids and read to them and cuddle them in bed no less. They would fall asleep in his arms on the couch too and he even had lots of water fights with them. He prefered the company of kids while the other adults would be wining and dining. Said they’re so easy to be with. So innocent. no games…just are. Sound familiar. We’d call him the ‘Pied Piper of North Fitzroy’- that’s where we live in Melbourne. We’d laugh and say talk about a ‘Peter Pan’. Such a big kid himself. He too is a sweet gentle man…kind of strong ‘feminine side’ for want of a better description. very creative. No not gay I can assure. Anyway, enough about my personal life. Cheers.
