History Is Bunk
Barry’s amateur hour administration is so desperate to conjure up the illusion that Porkulous was anything other than a colossal waste of taxpayer money that it is now turning Gitmo from a detention area for crazed terrorists into another of their fantastically successful job creation schemes.
The Obie White House has stated that Gitmo terrorists (or “detainees” if you read the MSM) may be transferred to Thomson Correctional Center, a near vacant maximum-security state prison in northwest Illinois.
Sen. Durbin, a spiteful turd of a man who punishes radio stations that tell his constituents if he’s coming to their town, said that,

When you compare this to the fart-in-the-wind impact that Porkulous has had in states like West Virginia, Connecticut and New Hampshire (where a monumental 31, 20 and 22 jobs have been created/saved in toto), no wonder Democrats are lauding this idea as another Godsend from The One.
But the offensiveness of Democrats viewing the incarceration of 9/11 terrorists as a mere public works scheme is incalculable. In the eyes of the Democrats, 9/11 is now a historical antiquity (and one caused by the election of George W. Bush, no less), so it can be exploited in whatever baseless manner they choose. Any emotions that day may have briefly stirred in the Left are gone, and the task now is to use 9/11 the National Day of Service in the glorification of The One.
Barry’s latest stop on his global apology tour has seen him cause offense both domestically and abroad with his ill-considered and unwanted display of submission to the Japanese emperor.
How long will it be before the weakest man to ever be entrusted with such power and responsibility apologizes for America having forced the 9/11 scum to do what they did?

Your title is appropriate for this administration. History is an incovenient truth that doesn’t fit their current appeasement narrative.
Don’t stop with 9/11; at the rate they are going they’ll apologize and demean this country all the way back to Pearl Harbor.

Wow is like cash for killers. We could use stimulus money to pay terrorists to destroy perfectly good buildings and people in exchange for their incarceration on American soil. I mean when ever you destroy something like a car engine or a person, the economy benefits.

Jeff – I hadn’t devoted any thought to that figure, just assuming it to be routine Democratic math, but you’re right. No way could that generate a billion bucks unless they’ve already factored in the looming Weimar Germany/Zimbabwe-esque hyperinflation.
C Gen – Ridiculous, isn’t it? In that sense, it’s somewhat similar to how Chinese authorities are tearing up roads just to replace them, in order to to spend their allotted Porkulous monies.

Let me write a hypothetical here. If I was your president, I would have ordered the assholes aka terrorists aka ObaMao’s kindred to NYC to rebuild the Twin Towers. Under heavy military guard of course. Working 24/7 because they are not citizens, therefore they aren’t covered by any of the labor laws. Also, since we love us some slavery (raaaaaaacist!). Then when they are done, we place them on the top floors to live. Meanwhile, I am sending each of their families free airline tickets to visit with the terrorists aka assholes aka ObaMao’s brothers. Can you guess how this ends? Yes, I do have a dark side. And yes, I’m totally serious. What are my chances for re-election? What are the chances there will ever be another terrorist attack while I am in office?
