I know it’s been traumatic, but this is the final, final edition of Barry tributes.

    Well, maybe.

Anyway, this time it’s the turn of The Economist covers.  Falling well behind Newsweek (32) and TIME (27) with a desultory 16 covers of Zero, The Economist does at least maintain a more even-handed appearance.  Not that that’s terribly difficult when the competition is what it is, but still.

Does this mean that it’s time for Barry for start whinging about another media outlet that *gasp* sometimes does its job and doesn’t always take every single thing that he says at face value?

The Economist is a verbal worship fest for all things O-rdained. Please continue including them in your fine ridicule. It’s almost at the level of an art form: post-post-absurdist?

SNK – I think “post-post-absurdist” is as close to a definition for the popular hysteria as we’re going to get. I’ve not read The Economist in quite a while, although I used to enjoy it when I was a more regular reader. Have they too gone overboard in support of Barry?

Kris – I knew that this one would irk you! But worry not, I’ll put together a collection of Dubya ones soon…

Is he sucking his thumb on the last cover? At least that’s an appropriate pose. The only thing missing is a blankey.

I really have to admit to changing the channel if I hear or see the O-Ring. I think people are getting Obama-fatigue because he is constantly “on” somewhere!!! The constant indoctrination is beginning to bore the kids, annoy the adults. Hey, O, less is more, baby!!!

A tad much that’s for sure – but I hope that they keep this up. The more folks see this man on the cover of their magazines the quicker that these magazine go under as people continue to grow tried of seeing him.
