Bless her heart, she is not a natural beauty so she needs to stay away from really bright colors. They invite too much attention.
She seems to look better in plain simple clothes; they go better with her simple and plain face.
As for her figure she should wear clothes that do not make her look taller or shorter.
In other words she needs to dress her age and her looks.
Some women can wear a gunny sack and look good but she is not one of them so she needs to wear non attention getting colors and styles.

She needs to just grasp once and for all
that overly cute dressing is a bomb for
anyone over 30 and most especially anyone
without the remotest chance in Hell of
passing for Barbie. She looks like a big
menacing Easter bunny. And in this shot,
like she’s about to star in a John Waters
remake of Grease. Even fewer Asians are
going to buy American debt because of her.
