Right then, here is pretty much the final installment of my scientific investigation into the TIME/Newsweek-Obama/Bush covers phenomenon.

And I can safely report that the findings conform to the pattern established earlier: namely, that President Bush was consistently treated like a leper, while President Obama (pbuh) receives the all-star treatment.

Some choice Newsweek-Bush covers include the wonderfully objective titles of, “Bush’s $87 Billion Mess“, “The Price of Denial“, “How Much Power Should They Have?“, “Will Bush Listen?” and the awesomely condescending “Father Knows Best.

To recap, here is the gallery of Newsweek Obama covers.

Here is the gallery of TIME Obama covers.

And here is the gallery of TIME Bush covers.

Now I’m pretty sure that the TIME covers for both men are up to date, seeing as how the TIME website provides a handy feature to browse their archives by cover.  But the Newsweek site (kinda stupidly) has no such facility, so while I think that my collages are just about complete, I’m not entirely certain.  If you know of a cover that I’ve missed, please let me know!

This labor of love (or flogging a dead horse, depending on how you look at it) is just about over, bar the monthly updates when TIME and Newsweek are obliged to publish tributes to Barry in order to meet their annual worship quota.

All that remains – and here is where some creativity is key – is to decide what to do with these galleries.  I’m thinking that they’d make for fairly appropriate wallpaper for some people, Christmas cards for others and toilet paper for an increasingly large slice of the populace.

    I await your suggestions…

Ahhh jeez, NO ruining of more holidays, PLEASE, NO OBAMAS! I know that is asking too much, but the msm’s desire to flagrantly pimp this administration out to the public is irreprehensible. More of a crime considering the current events.

“…bar the monthly updates when TIME and Newsweek are obliged to publish tributes to Barry in order to meet their annual worship quota.” It does kinda seem like this is the modern day version of sacrificing a goat. Worshipping the obamagod. It’s disgusting.

With due respect to your glorious efforts at documenting the syncophantic behavior of our MSM – please, no more.

Save the Bush ones of course; consign the rest to the dustbin. I beg you please don’t publish them.

      Never. Again.

      Ladies and gentlemen,

I think you all are being far too hard on the Knee-Pad Media. I mean, it’s really difficult to write an objective news story on the POSOTUS with one’s lips Super-Glued to his ass.

      Cordially,

Kris – I feel your pain, as politicians are wont to say (I cannot stand that phrase) – only one more set to go, for The Economist. But I imagine that’ll be a relatively small set of covers, as they have a reputation to maintain.

Voyska – As difficult as it is to write an impartial story with their collective head up his a*s, indeed.

kireina – great idea! I’m going to look into that…
