It Takes Effort To Be This Wrong

Isn’t it funny how often politicians let slip with the truth once they’re on foreign soil?
They presumably think that little attention is going to be paid to whatever mouth-farts they exhale in other places – particularly those terrorist-breeding cesspits where they seemingly have to go every month for yet more posturing – by the domestic American electorate.
Which is why Hillary Clinton can go to Pakistan and spout nonsense of the highest order, without any fear of the Democrats’ media lackeys taking her to task over it.
To get the fun started in Pakistan, Hillary bravely declared that,
We cannot let a minority of people in both countries determine our relationship.
Nice one, Hill. Real classy. See how it allowed the completely amoral Clinton to play the moral equivalency card, by equating the “minority” in Pakistan (fervent al-Qaeda supporters, as opposed to average ones) with the “minority” in the US (conservatives, who in the real reality constitute the largest single ideological bloc in America).
Once the warm-up was over, Clinton then let fly with another revealing soundbite, stating that,
Wow. I’d love to see her use this description of the crushing taxation burden over here.
Saving the best until last, though, the coup de grace came with the announcement that, regarding President Bush,
Except, of course, for the Iraq war. Which she supported until it harmed her presidential ambitions. Still, the sentiment is entirely valid – she spent eight years opposing the efforts of the Bush administration to defeat, capture and kill as many Islamic terrorists as possible.
No wonder the audience applauded.

The audience certainly wouldn’t have applauded those trousers.
An article of clothing so heinous as to justify (partially) the burka.

Oy. Most Pakistanis realize that the reason Pakistan doesn’t suffer under a crushing tax burden is because very few people actually pay their taxes. *sigh*

Well, at least she didn’t lie about the taxes. Anything that does or doesn’t move just about covers it. Why is she so proud of that fact?

kireina – yup, and there’s barely a State to pay their taxes towards, anyway.
skiri’ki – strange, ain’t it? She acts like her party’s not responsible for it, either, like it’s just a natural occurrence (which for the Western model is true enough – but things don’t have to be this way and we don’t always have to be taxed to the hilt). I’m not used to hearing candor from the Hillary.

I’m not so sure I’d put that on my resume – spent 8 years working hard to oppose your leader.
Nowhere except in politics could that possibly be considered a plus.
In coporate america, that would be called a CLeM – Career Limiting Move.

Track – it’s probably more appropriate to be a CLiM. But it is said as if it’s spelled “CLeM”.
Either way – it is good isn’t it.
