Here's AN article about it. It's not the one I originally read. The one I read went into the ROE (Rules of Engagement) which is why they are being restricted in the first place. article Hope this works. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

From what I’ve been reading, this is turning into another Vietnam. I don’t say that lightly either. My brother was in Vietnam as a medic and he still refuses to talk about his experiences. They have so many restrictions on these soldiers, that if it is true that morale is down, it’s no wonder. Per a UN resolution, our soldiers are not allowed to fire upon the enemy if there are children present in the vicinity. Even if they are being attacked, they are not allowed to return fire. Not long ago 4 soldiers were killed because of this stupid as hell rule. I don’t mean to sound hard-hearted, but war is hell. We are in a fight not only for our lives, but for our very culture. What caring parent would allow a child in war zone to begin with? And we all know that these children end up being terrorists. I’m just sayin’….

Well… I disagree with your elucidation on the current military situation (personally, I think the biggest problem is a lack of united control between the UN forces, US military, and US marines, meaning target distribution is not done well, and communications are terrible between the three groups).

However, I cannot argue with your characterization of Obama’s actions. What a schmuck. *sigh*
