Or another one of Barry’s “scientific” advisers? ‘Cos someone is responsible for cramming more junk into Barry’s brain and it sure as heck ain’t anyone with any actual scientific knowledge or experience.
Think Al Gore, but minus his formidable credentials of having taken exactly two science courses as an undergraduate at Yale, scoring a D in Natural Sciences 6 and a C in Natural Sciences 118.
This coming Tuesday, Barry has been told to visit Florida, where the grandly-titled Desoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center is nearing completion. It is the nation’s largest solar panel energy plant and will power approximately 3,000 homes and businesses.
At a price.
Because the Desoto project has cost $150 million to build so far, meaning that it costs $50,000 to supply electricity to each of those 3,000 homes. Aside from Al Gore himself – whose home consumes more than 20 times the national average – I’m not quite sure who could afford such an astronomical energy bill.
But the cost doesn’t matter, of course. Not really. And certainly not when the Democrats measure a policy by how warm and fuzzy it makes them feel inside, how it allows them to claim to be doing The Right Thing and how it’ll force us to change our energy consumption and, thus, our daily lives.
As ever for the secular saviors, it’s intentions over results, baby.

Al Gore is proof that primates evolved from man since he willing chooses to be one (minus the energy hog house he lives in). Seems that he’s determined to have us all de-evolve and live like primates ourselves with this global warming. . . I mean global cooling. . . I mean global climate change . . . I mean. . . whatever. . .crisis he can come up with.

madmath – I do love the flexibility that environmentalists allow themselves. As you say, it was warming first, then climate change, then cooling, and now it encompasses both warming and cooling.
Which, to anyone else, is simply the normal seasonal passage.
This frequent change in nomenclature reflects the fact that the science behind climate theories – despite what the greens say – is far from settled.
What they claim as scientific fact, something akin to the existence of gravity, is nothing of the sort.
