    Guest Blogger Thursday

    trackacrat-guest-banner

Although it was initially meant to be Guest Blogger Sunday, but you don’t turn 30 every weekend.

Friends, it is my pleasure to introduce Cliff, aka Another Black Conservative (although I think a good number of you may well know of him already).

I realize that I posted on village idiot Carter yesterday, but I thought that you’d appreciate reading Cliff’s take on the matter: amongst the rest of the goodness, he makes one especially salient point towards the end of the piece, something that I’d not thought of until reading it at his site and which, unfortunately, is all too easily imaginable if things continue to go the way that they’re heading.

Cliff, thank you for the guest blogger logo, it looks great.  Wonderful way to give a person (me) delusions of grandeur, too.

    Take it away, ABC:

Rep. Hank Johnson and Jimmy Carter join the Raaaaacism Industrial Complex

First up we have House Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), who sees Klans men riding in the night if Rep. Joe Wilson isn’t rebuked.

Next we have ex president Jimmy Carter, who thinks that the main reason people oppose Obama is because he is black.

While it is all to easy to lampoon mental midgets like Johnson and Carter for their manufactured charges of racism, it is time to start taking these race card dealers seriously. These race card dealers’ actions, be they intentional (may God curse them) or unintentional, have two very serious consequences for America.

The first consequence is obvious, a clash of the races. On one side you have black people. Many who readily buy into these bogus charges of racism because them have been fed a steady diet of racial distrust from the left. On the other side you have white people. Many who are getting more than just a little fed up with being called racist by the left, simply because they hold a different view from Obama. Sooner or later these opposing views are going to meet and something very ugly will result.

The second consequence is that it will be a very long time before we have another black as president. If a white person opposing a black president’s policies makes them a racist, then many white people will simply choose to avoid that label by not voting for any more black presidents in the future.

If we do not want to see race relations in America set back 50 years, then we should all start taking a sterner hand to race card dealers like Johnson, Carter, Dowd and Garofalo.

My personal view of racism is that there is still too much in the world. To make up charges of racism just to score political points is nothing less than pure evil. That is how I would label all these racial hucksters and treat them accordingly.

Someone tell me, because for the life of me I don’t know the answer, but how in the hell is calling someone a liar, racist? The only reason for lying is to manipulate someone. So, calling out liars is the right thing to do. Now, maybe Wilson didn’t do it with any finesse and the time and place was a bad choice, but the fact is he hasn’t said anything that the rest of us aren’t saying. The truth of the matter is that Zero is a liar. And that truth can be proven. These charges of racism on the other hand, cannot be proven simply by pointing to someone and calling them a name. And yes, these race card baiters need to be called out, too. I have seen more acts of racism from blacks towards whites since this president took office. He hasn’t united this country at all, on the contrary, we are divided even more along racial lines. As you’ve said, tho, it’s bad enough the racism exists, but to manufacture it out of thin air is reprehensible.

Clifton is one of the best and I am really amazed at how his site is growing. Also Carter is catching up again as the worst president in US history. After the last 8 months I was leaning to you know who…….

J- and Clifford, one cannot bag on Carter too much in my book!

..and just so folks like this pathetic dictator-butt-smooching, pathetic, drooling old failed-ex-president can get their head screwed on straight, take a look at the sidebar of Clifton’s site. It is festooned with a host of links to other black conservative blogs.

Gee, I wonder how this could happen to us racist, Nazi, swastika-bearing, red-neck mobsters?

Fellow Americans, fellow patriots? Content of one’s character? Abso-freaking-lutely!

I truly resent the racist label when it’s thrown out there for no other reason than to distract from the real issue or because the person throwing it doesn’t have a valid argument to defend.

Embrace the label, Janie. It keeps them from substantively defending the plan. In other words, if they want to waste time calling us racists rather than selling the plan, let them. As I pointed out, I’d rather be called a racist with the current health plan than have ObamaCare and be considered an enlighented, post-racial dude.

Interesting point of view about future voting. I thought the race card would be played much later in the game. It could be good that it was played so early. Now my respect for Jimmy Carter is greatly diminished, he’s just got it wrong.

With the greatest of repsect, Texlahoma, but how much more can one’s regard for Carter be diminished? Did you not endure his years a s president? The malaise? The seemingly interminable hostage crisis? The almost-thirty percent misery index?

And then to have this pathetic, senile, slobbering whack-a-mole pop up at the most inopportune times since being massively rejected by the voters in ‘80 to insert his proboscus up the rectum of any tin-horn dictator or continue to court that incarnation of evil, Arafat and his horde of Palestinian thugs.

Oh yeah, how about his near-recent tour de force display of patriotism: sitting down with that obscene tub-of-goo and hater of America, Michael Moore, at the 2004 DNC in Boston?

Right about now, I have a set of moth-eaten boxers with skid marks that I hold in higher regard than that mindless peanut farmer.

All things considered, we’d have been better off if we had elected his brother Billy. At least he had a beer named after him.
