From The “Center on American Racism”

Simplicity, or, rather, clarity of view, is often a necessity and frequently a blessing.
But not when you’re the incredible Jimmy Carter, the world’s most ignorant educated man. His only function is to seemingly act as a worldwide repository of stupid.
Never has one man been so consistently wrong about everything to which he’s turned his mind. Without doubt, Carter is the type of person who needs reminding not to pour orange juice over his cereal. His latest eruption – quite late in the game compared to the antics of other unscrupulous Democrats – is to blanketly defame all those who voice any opposition to Barry as racists.
So, the 48 million Americans who didn’t vote for Obama, whether they know it or not, did so out of overt, subconscious or genetically-ingrained racism.
Does this concomitantly mean that the opposition faced by past Democratic presidents was also motivated by racism?
Or can that not be so, because racism is only perpetuated by white people against non-white people, as is implicit whenever those on the Left level the charge?
How is our opposition to this indoctrinaire socialist any different than our opposition to all other such people?
The offensiveness of this moronic claim is breathtaking. It’s valid for me to call those on the Left “socialist” not only because it’s true, but also because it’s a recognized political ideology (somehow still, despite a century and a half of unmitigated disaster whenever and wherever it’s been put into practice).
However, it is in no way acceptable for them in return to slander us as racists. As far as I know, that’s not an established political school. It is a deeply offensive personal insult, an accusation raised with no other aim than to shut down debate and discredit opposition.
But that’s just what Democrats do.
As there is no intellectual merit behind any of their policies, they feel obliged to revert to this base level of behavior. As they are incapable of arguing cogently the issue itself, they resort to arguing against the opponent and, for them, nothing is below the belt.
The Democrats and the media are wildly over-playing a really bad hand and it will backfire on them.
Finally, let us not forget that through this all, the Democrats are simply trying to atone – in their own, thoroughly misguided way – for their grievous sins past and present, in the words of Frances Rice, as “the party of slavery, secession, segregation and socialism.”

I refuse to even listen to anything that comes from the mouth of the worst president in history. Ever. I was in high school when this jackass was in office. Pussy doesn’t even begin to describe him. Peace is a great and honorable thing to stand for and to strive for. BUT, you need to be strong and hard and willing to fight to be a leader of a nation. I have no respect for the man and never will.

skiri’ki – a wise choice, indeed. I’m like a moth to a flame, though, and just cannot tear myself away from following Carter’s lunacy.

I love what Ed Morrissey at Hot Air said about Carter. He said that if opposition to Obama is de-facto racism, then opposition to Israel is de-facto anti-semitism.
From now on – refer to him as “Jimmy Carter, known anti-semite”.

Laughed out loud at the OJ over cereal analogy.
The habitual and desparate racism claims are proving ineffective as polls are not changing as a result of the claims being made. In other words, folks are not backpedaling on white guilt grounds and standing pat on their beliefs that the president’s policies are atrocious. Once the libs figure out that it is not working, they will find a new accusation for opposing the president that is equally as hollow.

Dammit, I am NOT a racist! I don’t give a flying fig how much melanin the Prez has…I was raised to consider content of character, not color of skin. Duh! But BarryO and His Band of Merry CongressWeasels are promoting changes for this country that will RUIN us, and I don’t care if he’s lily-white as Jimmuh, it’s what bothers me MOST this President.
Only lazy “jouralists” or “statesmen” or “politicians” with an agenda of their own would make such a ridiculous charge.

Hythloday, kc – I could not agree more. Democrats are so fixated on passing their agenda that they will use any means at their disposal to gain support (or, at least, quell opposition), without caring to think about the wider damage caused by ludicrously smearing 48 million people as racists.
And you’re exactly right, Hythloday. I wonder what will come next, though? The bottom of the barrel has already been reached and there isn’t a more nuclear nuclear-option than the racist charge.

The first thing we need to do is acknowledge that there are racists in this country and the majority do tend to come from uneducated, “conservative” backgrounds. There is a long history of systematic racism and while it is easy to throw around accusations, it is absurd to dismiss it, as well.
It is the same as calling all Democrats “socialists”. American democrats are fairly centrist, as is President Obama. Tossing around that term is just silly and ignores the need for a more analytical (and respectful!) national dialogue.
September 16th, 2009 at 22:41
Welcome!
But there’s one huge flaw in your comment – only someone equally far-Left as Barry could ever consider him to be a centrist.
Plus, I love how you equate uneducated with conservative, good stuff!
Whereas I would say that it’s those who are content with taking state hand-outs who are the uneducated ones, and guess whose side they figure on most heavily?

Thank you, Track. Seeing as how The Lifelong Democrat “Public Servant” in Congress who was Grand Kleagle of a slightly racist organization whose purpose was (is) the oppression and/or destruction of certain classes of people based on the colour of their skin, I was wondering how to comment without losing my cool. I got educated and departed from the Democrats, not the other way around.
