I was thrilled that somebody had the stones to yell out to the room the truth! It was refreshing. To those that say "how could he break protocol, etc.", remember the lies that were just coming out of Obama's mouth mere seconds before. I know factcheck and other sites are saying Joe was mistaken, that illegals will not get free medical care, that there is in fact a paragraph in H.R.3200 that states just that. Yes, it is true, BUT what is NOT IN THERE is more important. THERE IS NOTHING in there to check that the patient is in fact a legal citizen and that JOE upon reading this and realizing it, had himself started the process of adding language that REQUIRED the patient to provide proof of citizenship! THIS WAS VOTED DOWN! Secondly, Obama has made it clear that he wants amnesty for illegals, so this enitre issue would be moot and THEREFORE by 2013 (when this "we have to do this now" medical takeover is supposed to start) all illegals would be citizens and therefore entitled to free healthcare. There are people who voted for Zero, but thru their own apathy or their desire to be on the winning side, didn't do the research and now are unhappy with the way things are turning out. For those people, I have no sympathy. Voting is not a right. It's a responsibility. The two main parties in this country are not the end-all and be-all. There must be education to change the thinking in this country from one of voting for the lesser of two evils, to voting with your conscience. There are enough "third" parties out there that everyone of us should be able to find a candidate that believes in the same things they do. Now, that may be a little idealistic of me, but I hope I'm getting my point across. I read one blog that had a different take on the election. The woman who wrote it said she felt that people voted not so much FOR Obama, but AGAINST McCain.
