Man Of The Century (So Far)
Is without doubt Rep. Joe Wilson from South Carolina, who had the temerity to call Barry a liar as he was lying through his teeth to Congress and the nation.
To Democrats, this was -- unsurprisingly -- more proof of how conservatives don’t meet the minimum standards for classification as human beings (not to mention being thoroughly racist, of course).
The greatest strength of the Democrats is not their unquestioning adherence to a long-dead ideology, but rather their unmatched ability to warp all of time and space to suit their ideological preferences. Especially the time part -- Democrats have no concept of history that does not validate their gibberish.

Bearing in mind that I want to scream “liar” at Barry every time that he opens his mouth (We cannot leave our children with massive debt! I will not raise taxes on the middle-class! My government will be the most transparent ever! I’m not for big government! I will reduce the number of abortions!), I’m amazed that Joe had resisted doing this up until now.
This will hopefully be the start of the next craze, whereby Republican members of Congress chant “liar” in unison every time that Barry gets up to speechify.
Maybe then he’ll go a day without bothering us about one or another of his masterplans.

I would feel the same way had Joe not then apologized for his outburst. Why did he? Because he was bullied into it, by Dems and Repubs alike? It’s true! That SOB that is president IS lying. Every time he opens his mouth. He does it so naturally that he doesn’t even have to think about it. Disgusting.

Joe Wilson from South Carolina, is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. He is a hater not a debater like most of his side of the isle.

Which party is it that greeted every Bush policy with cries of “fascist” and greets every Republican alternative today with screams of “racist”?
Which party is trying to ram though health care, cap and tax, etc, without allowing the proper room for debate?
Which party is attempting to shut down freedom of speech through the Fairness Doctrine and its offspring?
Which party would use card check to forestall freedom within the workplace as a means to imposing blanket decisions on all?
Etc, etc.

I’ve tried so hard to respect the office of the President, even if I couldn’t respect the man.
I just can’t do it any longer. When the president gets on national TV and lies like that; when the information to prove him wrong is a click away – I can no longer respect the office when it’s occupied by someone who so clearly hates this country so much he’d rather spread socialism than listen to the very people who voted for him in the first place.

‘Crat, I think there is a ton of buyer’s remorse out there. There are people who voted for Zero, but thru their own apathy or their desire to be on the winning side, didn’t do the research and now are unhappy with the way things are turning out. For those people, I have no sympathy. Voting is not a right. It’s a responsibility. The two main parties in this country are not the end-all and be-all. There must be education to change the thinking in this country from one of voting for the lesser of two evils, to voting with your conscience. There are enough “third” parties out there that everyone of us should be able to find a candidate that believes in the same things they do. Now, that may be a little idealistic of me, but I hope I’m getting my point across. I read one blog that had a different take on the election. The woman who wrote it said she felt that people voted not so much FOR Obama, but AGAINST McCain. I hadn’t thought about it like that, but now I can see what she meant.

The amount of lies coming out of Obama’s mouth had me yelling at my tv “liar!”. I was thrilled that somebody had the stones to yell out to the room the truth! It was refreshing. To those that say “how could he break protocol, etc.”, remember the lies that were just coming out of Obama’s mouth mere seconds before.
I know factcheck and other sites are saying Joe was mistaken, that illegals will not get free medical care, that there is in fact a paragraph in H.R.3200 that states just that. Yes, it is true, BUT what is NOT IN THERE is more important. THERE IS NOTHING in there to check that the patient is in fact a legal citizen and that JOE upon reading this and realizing it, had himself started the process of adding language that REQUIRED the patient to provide proof of citizenship! THIS WAS VOTED DOWN! Secondly, Obama has made it clear that he wants amnesty for illegals, so this enitre issue would be moot and THEREFORE by 2013 (when this “we have to do this now” medical takeover is supposed to start) all illegals would be citizens and therefore entitled to free healthcare.
It’s all lies and deception and Joe called it out! You are a hero Joe!

If I lived about 20 miles farther west Joe Wilson would be my rep in Congress and not that sycophantic racist nepotistic bootlicking liberal assclown scumbag Jim Clyburn.
Wilson gets demonized and vilified for a knee-jerk expression of outrage against a known and proven liar who isn’t fit to carry Joe Wilson’s jockstrap.
Let me guess, Paul; you’ve never even been to South Carolina, have you? I moved here by choice from Maine, and as a well-traveled, relatively well-educated transplant to the south, I take umbrage with your base genralizations and feel pretty confident that you, sir, lack the stones to carry *my* jockstrap.
