My interweb is still being a royal pain in the a*s and Verizon says it’s thinking about trying to fix it on Friday.
Until then, it’s gonna be slow going on the site – apologies, friends…

For some reason, Firefox has been moving like pond water today for me. It’s been taking forever to load pages & what not…I detect a conspiracy afoot from the White House to destroy the computers of we conservative bloggers.

..dump that dog for “Opera”. Be prepared for a few GPFs (program crashes) and page printing format problems, but otherwise good for surfing.
Also, ya snagged that pic from S. Weasel, dincha?

S’not the browser, guys, something’s wrong with the connection – Verizon has run initial tests but they need to do more from where they are (unless they’re in cahoots with the WH about shutting down dissenting blogs, which isn’t beyond the realm of the possible…)
Just took the pic from the web, Voyska, you’ve seen it at S. Weasel, then? Could imagine that it’s her work, it’s awesome enough.

I have to take this opportunity to complain about Verizon. I’ve had their service since 2001 with no problems. Then, in October I purchased new phones for my kids which would allow them to text/pix. I blocked their access to the web, as any responsible mother should do. Unfortunately, Verizon failed to tell me that by blocking this access my kids…get this…would be billed for 1kb of data each and every month – at a cost of $1.99 for each line. Now, I have the same block on my phone, a different brand phone, with no kb charges. I’ve spent 9 months arguing with Verizon over this matter and they keep giving me lip service. When my contract is up, it’s over!
