Another Health Care Victim
Oh deary me.
Turns out that hope’n'change is quickly becoming a victim of harsh reality.
Both Reid and Pelosi have started retreating, stating that health care’s going nowhere until after the recess.
I wonder if that’s because ordinary citizens are daring to mock the Dear Leader’s plan?
Or could it be because the national economy is still tanking, as the free market refuses to obey the anti-logic of Obamanomics?
Perhaps the specter of paying for tummy-tucks for hundreds of thousands (millions?) of ginormous fatties like Alexander Draper also made a dent in supposedly bullet-proof Democratic support for state-rationed health care?
No doubt the MSM will attribute this setback to Obama’s much-vaunted-yet-invisible pragmatism, instead of his conceit in trying to ram through a project of this magnitude in as little time as possible.
The wheels are starting to come off, folks…
(Don’t you just hate how often Obama says “folks?” Note to the president: saying “folks” lots and lots doesn’t prove how in touch you are with the average person. And neither, for that matter, does spending $6,000 on a handbag.)

I seem to recall that a white person calling people “folks” often was accused of racism or disparaging their intelligence.
No liberal has ever explained the race baiting to me. My family are folks and mostly white or Asian.

I would have to add to that list of things that do NOT say “I’m in touch with America” is saying, “I should have calibrated my words differently.”
WTHeck says “calibrated my words”?! You calibrate engine parts. You “choose the wrong words”.
But then again, if he said he chose the wrong words he’d be admitting that he was wrong. His holiness doesn’t do that.
