Rep. Russ Carnahan – Useful Idiot
Boy, what a tool.
Please watch as Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-MO) lies and lies to his audience about the Democrats’ health care plan.
It’s almost worth electing stupid politicians to then mock them mercilessly for their lack of intelligence. Almost, but not quite.
Still, let us be thankful that some people still engage their brain, instead of simply turning off, when politics is mentioned.
Poor old Russ gets the heckling started by stating that,
“The overall cost of the package has been estimated at about $1 trillion over ten years. About half of that comes from savings through efficiencies in the system.”
Which, as you would hope but not expect, is met with the appropriate level of derision.
How can he say that?
Who believes that there are going to by any efficiency savings? There never are! Whenever it is used, by either party, it is nothing more than a shallow ruse for them to claim that the cost of a program is not going to be as much as feared -- and it is an outright lie every time.
He follows up with another couple howlers, but, by that point, it’s all over. Carahan has been exposed as another mindless Obot.
Nevertheless, I love that he goes out to hard sell what he knows to be a defective good. In Europe, on the other hand, politicians rarely make public appearances, such is the level of contempt that greets them.
Pretty soon, because we have been so downright mean to people who are just trying to help by making our decisions for us, politicians will just stop telling us about everything that they’ve decided we’re too inept to do ourselves.
And that day cannot come soon enough for the Democrats.

…lies and lies to his audience…
You say that like it’s a surprise. When it’s a politician…I thought it was to be expected.

They (politicians) work for us. We need to remind them of this.
