    The Dust Is Not Settling

If you believe in small government, low taxes, limited immigration, personal freedom and individual responsibility, then you, my friend, are not alone.

    But you’re also an extremist.

Which won’t be terribly surprising to you.  When people believe in nothing, those who believe in something seem radical in contrast.  That such political views (shaped over the course of centuries, as opposed to the fledgling rival school of socialism) are now routinely castigated as “extreme” proves nothing except that we are living in the age of ignorance.

Never before have we had such access to information and education, yet never before have we treated it with such apathy (thank you, the constant distractions of celebrities, reality TV and easy credit).

Even so, I’m always glad to see people who make my conservatism look kinda tame, like there’s still room for growth.  Such as the good folk in the video.  When was the last time that any president was greeted by frequent (and growing) street protests with his tenure barely months old?  When was the last time that so many people held such doubt as to their president’s status as a citizen?

    Never and never.  Until now.

The legend of Barry’s birth is intriguing, and instances like the Kenyan Ambassador Ogego agreeing that Obama’s birthplace in Kenya was already a national attraction ensure that this particular conspiracy theory is gonna be around for a long time to come.

Not that it’s worth much, but I do believe that Barry is American (where else, after all, would he have learned to treat what makes America great with such profound disdain?), though I positively love the idea of claiming that all our domestic socialists are, in fact, foreigners…

God bless America and God bless this courageous woman!

..I would type more, except I cannot see the keyboard for the tears in my eyes.

(They have NO freaking idea what is in store for them in 2010, do they, ‘Crat? I mean, we are just six months in to this scumbag’s Reign of Error, and the anger is only growing more and more palpable. It is just the beginning of the next American revolution.)

I was born before Obama in what could now be considered a US territory more than it can be considered a state….Florida. My birth certificate has the signature of the doctor, a witness, the signature of the director of the Vital Records department of the State of Florida, along with the signature of the Clerk of the Court for the county in which I was born. It also bears my footprints and the signatures of both of my parents. I’m pretty sure that microfish technology which has captured the image of my birth certificate from the 1950’s was available at about the same time that Obama was born.
