    When Is Racism Not Racism?

This not-so-happy looking chappy is Malcolm Smith, New York State Senate Majority Leader.

Malcolm, who knocked up a former staffer just ‘cos he’s all kinds of awesome, is also a huge racist.

According to this report in The New York Post, Democrats in the NY Senate “bemoaned the lack of minority Senate staffers”, which led them to fire “nearly 200 almost exclusively white workers and replaced them with a large number of minority employees, many of whom were seen by their fellow workers to be unskilled at their new jobs.”

Because that’s a sure-fire way to improve racial tensions in the NY Senate.

White?  Fired!  White?  Fired!  White?  Fired!  And so on.

This ain’t the first time that something similar has happened in (very) recent memory in the NY Senate, a place where even those who smash glass into their girlfriend’s face can call home…
