What I believe is that the appellate court decided the case based on the law that existed at the time, and then the conservatives on the Supreme Court altered the understanding of the law in their decision.

Nothing wrong with that- it’s their job. But that is a lot different than the spin being put on this by Republican spokesmen.

Come on. We all know that the primary function of government is to provide entertainment. That’s why it costs us so much.

Don’t take these guys so seriously. That only encourages their bad behavior and power-mongering. There certainly is a place for mockery of government officials, especially when their political views fall outside of our own.
