Just in case you’re not angry enough already with politicians who painstakingly claim to represent Everyman™, but have not the slightest idea about the lives of ordinary people (what’s the website number, again, Joe?), you can find out by clicking here who earns what on the White House payroll.
While I applaud this traditional – well, since 1995, anyway – token effort at transparency, I don’t much like the information contained therein.
The so-called busiest woman in Washington (according to Newsweek, at least) earns $113,000.
The brother of this guy earns $172,000, as does this arrogant lardball.
The village idiot earns $227,300.
And the Organizer-in-Chief earns $400,000.
No doubt about it – these people really do feel our pain.

He’s running scared. The moment he stops making speeches, he’ll have to fill all the time with something else and he’s not ready for that. Still.

The reverse spin on the crappy job numbers is already in full tilt. I was coming home from a meeting tonight and I almost ran off the road in disbelief. At the hour, an ABC anchor threw it to some blow-dried bouffant poofball airhead Obama sycophant and she proceeded to spew the S.O.M. party line that we’re bottoming out and brighter days are ahead or some trash like “the administration is seeing something it likes in the numbers”. The only bottom this broad will see is her zit-covered butt in the mirror.
