Once Again: Republicans = Terrorists

Doing too much of anything isn’t healthy. Whatever your fixation, obsession with it will sooner or later lead to a swift kick in the nads.
Which is how it’s beginning to feel exposing myself to the limitless stupidity of left-wingers, such as California Assembly Speaker Karen Bass (above center), every day.
Don’t get me wrong – I love writing this and poking fun at those worthy of ridicule (in fact, I wish that they knew what I was writing, so if any of you feel like emailing my posts to the subject itself, please do so) but it is alarming to know that people pay so little attention to something that has such a profound effect on their lives.
OK, deep(ish) thought of the day’s over, let’s get back to the smackdown. Idiot Bass recently stated in an LA Times interview that:
“The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: “You vote for revenue and your career is over.” I don’t know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it’s about free speech, but it’s extremely unfair.”
First of all, genius, learn to conjugate verbs properly or you’ll end up speaking like this. Secondly, grow a brain, you incredible dunce. Equating Republicans with terrorists may win you points among the extreme left but they’re not going anywhere.
It’s a horror-show of an interview and I only read half of it. She blames the people of California for the state’s budgetary problems, comes up with an awful metaphor involving martial arts and Bruce Lee (seriously), says that white men have it easy and hysterically invokes images of people dying if the CA state government falls. What?
Karen, I’m looking forward to your next outburst already.

I am SO sick of having to apologize every effing day for having been born a white male and for clawing my way up to the middle class. Yeah, I went to college, and no one paid for it but ME, by serving in the US Army. No one has really handed me anything in this life except opportunities to do it myself and earn it. I suffer a 90-minute drive each way to work so that I can freeze my ass off in a -20 degree freezer all day, so that my taxes can pay off other people’s mortgages and welfare, and I’m supposed to apologize for being a white male?
Yeah, right.
I’d have it a hell of a lot easier if everyone pulled their weight instead of asking Uncle Obammy for a handout.

Steve,
I don’t envy you that tough a day – the 90-minute commute alone is a nasty start.
Your problem, see, is that you work too hard! Sit back, get your drink on and let the “rich” (or at least those earning over
$300,000,$250,000,$200,000, $150,000 or whatever the figure now is) take care of it!I despise how the Democrats kill ambition and aspiration through their willingness to constantly expand government handouts. All you have to do in return is relinquish your independence.
I think you’ll agree with the quotation in this post:

Take note that this stupid woman has equated democracy with terrorism. After all, if you don’t represent your constituants, then they vote you out of office, right? But she views that as terrorism. It’s ok to fly planes into buildings, straps bombs on yourself and blow up schools and markets, and smash the heads of 4 year olds with a rifle butt, but don’t you dare threaten to vote a politician out of office. I guess I know how she sees America.
Ever notice how Libs equate taxes with revenue? Revenue is income gained from providing a good or service. Not from using police powers by force of the gun to fill the government coffers. Since government provides neither a service (just go to the post office or DMV as an example) or product, it’s a tax, not revenue.

madmath1,
Welcome!
That’s a great distinction between “revenue” and “tax.” I’m all for precision in language, so will not refer to government revenue again.
Revenue comes as a result of work, taxes as a result of theft.
