A Good Day To Bury Bad News

Rules do not apply to Barack Obama.
Because he’s just that cool.
Well, to be slightly more accurate, because he’s better even than Tony Blair at lying to people’s faces, then doing the opposite of what he repeatedly told them. This is only made worse than it is with other politicians because Barry gets away with it so frequently.
And so it is with Obama’s born-again support for holding suspected terrorists indefinitely.
For me, this is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, I’m glad that Obama’s reflexive blame-America, love-thy-enemy, strength-through weakness approach to international relations has been jolted. For him to reverse his most tiresome campaign pledge, the security and intelligence services must’ve really rocked Obama’s world of rainbows, bunnies and panpipes music.
Conversely, potential presidents should not be in possession of such juvenile and naive views on foreign affairs. Is it only now, with Obama ensconsed in the White House, that he’s being exposed to a non-Marxist analysis of history (history, by the way, is well known to be conservative)?
And it’s no coincidence that this story broke over the weekend of the protests in Iran and the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.
Jo Moore was a spin doctor for Blair and the Labour Party – she lied for money. She famously quit in 2002, after being condemned for sending an email as the WTC burned stating that 9/11 was “a very good day” to bury bad news.
That is the level of people we’re dealing with. Nothing is below them.

..oh, yeah, by the way, you guys want some bad news? Here’s a steaming load from the CBO that could get covered up if Barry’s prayers are answered.
