    Words Without End, Amen

People everywhere are loathe to admit to even the remote possibility that they may be wrong.

It’s always been like this, but never to the extent that we see today.  In our relativistic world, where nearly everyone prefaces or disclaimers their words with idiotic statements like “Your opinion is valid” and “I’m not judging you“, we strive to make all others feel that their thoughts are worthwhile.

If you’re of the Left, then there are no absolutes.  Hence the obsessiveness with which socialists reiterate over and over that everything is of equal value.

    Wrong.

Stupid people should be informed of their mental deficit often and loudly.  We need to bring back some small sense of shame to society.  Sure, the village idiot has always proclaimed his ignorance proudly, but never before have so many people delighted in their own lack of knowledge.

People today positively revel in it.  They see that a dearth of intelligence in no way hampered Jimmy Carter’s rise to the top, so why should it be an obstacle to their success?  In fact, it seems that ignorance has never paid better than it does today.

All of which brings us to, you guessed it, President Obama.  He’s sent a very polite letter (which I’m betting Khamenei and Ahmadinejad had a good chuckle about) to the mad mullahs in Iran, asking why-oh-why can’t they perhaps be a little nicer?  Hope’n'change is here and America has been reborn anew.  There’ll be no more of that pesky democracy-promotion business, for one thing.

Thus is Obama’s Iran policy revealed; words spoken, words written, now and for ever, words without end, amen.
