Public Humiliation For You
Gen. Jim Jones kicks righteous a*s.
Thank the Lord that he’s the president’s National Security Adviser and not some intelligence-blackhole like Gen. Wesley Clark, who must be the least knowledgeable person to have ever graduated from West Point.
Seriously. I heard him speak at a conference in DC last year, where he stated that (I’m paraphrasing) “Zimbabwe is a democracy, they’ve chosen Mugabe as their leader and we should respect that.”
Um, no it’s not, no they didn’t and no we shouldn’t.
Anyway, it doesn’t sound like Jones is going to last much longer. This leak by a source inside the White House is character assassination of the first degree.
The unnamed sources state that Jones “is so forgetful that at times he appears to have Alzheimer’s disease.”
Wow. That’s gotta hurt. I’m having trouble thinking of a more damaging accusation, this one spectacularly aside.
This works well for Obama. He gets kudos for appointing someone with strong ties to Republicans (and Sen. McCain in particular) and now gets to dispense with him and pick a docile replacement.
I just pray the Jones tracks down the anonymous source and layeth the smackdown.
