Too Stupid For Anything Else
I’m more than a little perplexed at how he’s managed to do this (or, rather, avoid doing this), but there’s a distinct lack of embarrassing photographs featuring Charles Rangel.
This is normally the easiest, and most fun, part of my posts (see here for a prime example) and is particularly surprising given how prone Rangel is to saying really stupid things.
He’s also a repeat offender at making dumb statements, which poses a slight problem as I have to come up with new ways to mock him. I can’t start simply repeating myself – I’ve standards, don’t you know. Make fun of his unhealthy size? Check. Point out his many self-enrichment rackets? Done that.
So let’s use old faithful, his whopping stupidity, again. Rangel has said that Attorney General Andrew Cuomo should not challenge New York governor David Paterson in a primary next year, and try to wrap your brain around this incredibly deep thought process, because:
According to Rangel, black people can only vote for other black people.
If there’s any silver lining to the election of President Intern, then please Lord make it that African-Americans no longer feel quite so obligated to automatically vote Democrat.
By voting against the expansion of free trade, against the promotion of risk-taking and entrepeneurship and for punitive taxation against the most successful people, they are choosing to to keep themselves mired in whatever circumstances made them vote Democrat in the first place.
