Democrats Heart Unemployment
Having experienced a historical track record of failure that is second-to-none, socialists have honed their detachment from reality to an unrivaled degree.
Well, wouldn’t you?
If everything you believed in had proven over and over again in every corner of the globe to be complete balls, then you have to (a) ignore results in the real world, (b) grow pretty thick skin or (c) become expert at blaming your failures on everyone else.
Or, if you’re really ambitious in your ignorance, you can do all three, as do the Democrats. There is, of course, a fourth option – relinquish your moronic beliefs – but that’s not even a remote possibility.
Socialists have survived repeated near-death experiences in part due to their amazing opportunism. US unemployment now stands at nearly 10% and you can bet your bottom dollar that this’ll be used to justify more Leftwing loonery.
All that this bad news is gonna do is convince the Democrats, not that it takes much, to steal more money from you and I to lavish on their special interests. Then again, if their spend-money-wildly strategy had actually created any jobs, they’d also be agitating for more government spending.
Either way, the socialists get their wish of a larger, more powerful and more intrusive state. Clever, isn’t it?
Not really. I’ve read elsewhere with increasing frequency that the dividing line in politics is no longer Right/Left. That’s true. It is freedom against control.
And the surest way to control most things, and especially us little folk, is to control the purse strings.
