Don’t Take My Word For It…

    picture-2

Take the word of Pravda (”Truth”), former mouthpiece of the Communist Party during the USSR’s glory years, that America has progressed farther down the Marxist road to hell more quickly than any thought possible:

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple.”

One man, of course, (albeit strongly supported by legion other proto-communists within the Democratic Party) shoulders the blame for this: Tovarish Obama, as Russian President Dmitry Medvedev so affectionately called POTUS.

See, US Department of State?  With the aid of the internet alone, I was able to find the Russian translation for “comrade”, whereas Sec. of State Clinton was humiliated by both the incompetence of her bureaucracy and the sheer stupidity of her gimmicky “overcharge” button a couple of months back.

No-one with an education past the primary level should ever vote for a party of the Left.

Nothing, even including world-renowned idiot Jimmy Carter, has been discredited more often than socialism, yet people still haven’t tired of it.

One way or the other, Obama’s legacy will change that.

I’ve heard this piece quoting by other bloggers. These broad charges of socailism and Marxism are really to me, worthless. We been socailistic since FDR, and no Republican including our entire house and senate cacus has plans to elimate Medicare or SS. So there are by defination socailists. I do not think we are heading towards communism. And it is perfectly normal for Democrats to want bigger government as do Republicans as demonstrated for the last 8 years. The era of small government died before I was ever born, so let’s work on ways to encourage the private sector starting with redoing trade policy that is killing jobs every day in America (we can’t do anything about China with it’s debt holdings) but we can with the rest of the world. Only a strong private national sector can provide a worthy alternative than bigger government.

      Christopher,

There’s no need for us to encourage the private sector to do anything. What people want and need, it will provide. The incentive, as it should be, is profit for the most efficient companies, not the worthless thanks of politicians.

Republicans of the last eight years have indeed expanded government, against their traditional values (that’s one of the reasons why I identify my politics as conservative, not Republican). This mistake is now being intensified by the Democrats.

Obama’s orgy of spending will destroy far more wealth (and the potential for its creation) in the long run than this temporary recession.

That, along with constrained personal freedom, is always the price of larger government. Are you willing to pay it?

Agree. Not assisted by government deciding who stays in business, setting bonus levels for CEOs, or knocking out corporations’ legs during international negotiations.
