Such a shame, then, that he’s not in the slightest (although, truth be told, this one was entirely predictable).
Triple J’s congressional campaign organization paid his wife at least $247,500 since 2001. Just in case that were not scandalous enough, JJJ’s political committee also gave at least $298,927 in cash and in-kind contributions to Sandra Jackson’s campaign fund when she ran for a position on the Chicago City Council.
She subsequently won election in 2007 and now has a salary of over $100,000 per annum – and that’s the official salary, before you add in backhanders, kickbacks and bribes, etc.
To surmise, JJ senior is an abhorrent racist, JJJ is equally corrupt and his wife is on the scam, too. Yay for democracy and choosing idiots as rulers!
Finally, Sandra was also in the running for a seat on the Cook County Board, another hereditary political post. Is anyone elected through popular vote in Chicago?
Cook County’s current president, Todd Stroger (whose father, John Stroger, held the position previously), will always have a place in my heart as proprietor of the World’s Worst Blog.
