    Black: In, White: Out

Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago (above) vowed four months ago that they would patronize only black-owned businesses for the next year.

Grandly entitled “The Empowerment Experiment”, it should more accurately be named “Experiments in How to Complicate Your Life and Look Stupid While Doing It.”

See, part of me understands exactly what this couple is doing.  They’ve discovered something that gains them attention, and now they’re exploiting it for all it’s worth.

Kirsty Ally does the same thing.  She’s fat!  Now she’s thin(ish).  Back to so fat that she threatens to knock the planet off its rotational axis.  And so on, ad infinitum. Notice how each time that she does a U-turn, she gets television, radio and magazine coverage, etc.  Not to mention cold, hard cash.

Same here.  But worse.  Does “imagine-the-riots-if-whites-decided-to-do-this” even need to be mentioned?

I can’t stand when anybody of ANY race talks like this. This completely undermines a good business trying to offer the best prices to everybody. To be on an equal plane, other races will have to boycott these black only stores. Then the fun will begin…

How about you buy items from stores that offer the best products, best prices, or best service? Stop basing decisions primarily on race and then complain when you believe your race is oppressed. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Hey! It´s Erin! Saw the link to your blog on FB.
While I disagree to a large degree with most of your attitudes and comments, I do think this blog is very well written. You have got some mad skills there.
Anyway, not to comment on this article, because full respect to people trying to support whatever they consider their local community to be, but someone in my family tried to do the same thing with products made in China. It was an interesting experiment… and downright impossible!

      Erin,

Good to hear from you and thank you for visiting the site!

My thanks also for your kind words despite your disagreement.

Tell me though: which of my comments do you not agree with (low taxes? Small government? Personal responsibility?)?

And are you equally displeased by the amount of corrupt Democrats featured herein?

There sure is a lot of ‘em (take a look at the list of names to the right) and everything on here is documented elsewhere…
