Blitzkreig
Alongside other definitions/applications, “Blitzkrieg” (Lightning War), as I’m sure you all know, was the WWII Nazi practice of terrorizing enemy populaces through bombing raids, with the aim of destroying civilian morale and undermining their support for the war effort.
There’s no satisfactory way to comprehend this (so I wouldn’t even bother trying), but the offices of the Most Intelligent President Ever saw fit to divebomb New Yorkers for a photo-op.
Granted, they did get a pretty sweet pic.
Oh, and the job of one Louis Caldera. And artificially shortened life spans for those in lower Manhattan.
The real reason behind this act of monumental stupidity? It was a preemptive strike by the president against wealthy supporters who are beginning to realize that they’ve been duped, just to remind ‘em all who’s boss.
