Because You (Didn’t) Demand It

Here is Female Force: Michelle Obama, courtesy of Bluewater comics.
Just what I always wanted.
I’m not dense, I understand what’s going on. The Obamas are a license to print money. Stick their likenesses on literally anything at all and pretty soon afterwards, yeah baby, it’s jackpot time.
But this also serves another purpose.
It furthers the cult of personality that has been growing around the couple for the last few years. People throughout the US see the Obamas everywhere, everyday. Surely that is testimony to how wonderful they are? Implicit within the relentless promotion of the Obamas is the firm contention that they represent the best, the right way of thinking/acting/living.
While middle-school-aged children can (must) read the special adaption of Dreams From My Father, for which Obama was paid $500,000 just days before assuming office, younger kids can pore over this more digestible comic.
Why should they be left out of the fun?
[Fair and balanced alert: Bluewater has also produced comics on Caroline Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Sarah Palin.]

Barack Obama the best variant of the president for America. Soon elections and I will necessarily vote for it. Whatever spoke, but Barack one of the most influential figures in the world.
