Nice Work If You Can Get It [Part II]
The First Lady of Anger should really not be so mad.
Not when she’s so wonderful that her previous employer, the University of Chicago Hospitals, paid her $62,709.00 last year despite the fact that she no longer worked there.
Last time I recall something like that happening was with Alexei Stakhanov.
Her job was so vital that they concomitantly decided to pay her an extra year’s salary and subsume her duties into that of another, already existing position.
That makes sense.
Of course, if you’re a Democrat, or even just employ one, then the basics of economics most likely don’t apply to you, either.
