With meticulous timing, the president has released documents disclosing some of the “torture” techniques used under the Bush administration.
That’s it? That’s all?
The report mentions placing one insect in a confinement box with the detainee, depriving them of sleep and making them stand up.
Super lame.
Were no little tootsies crushed by hammers, were no digits sliced off and were no prisoners forced to eat pork?
So, Janet Napolitano released a report the day before the Tea Parties warning everyone thinking of attending that they would henceforth be considered terrorists and President Obama released this memo the day afterwards?
Coincidence? I think not.
I imagine that Obama has already filled a little treasure trove with such documents, to be used at precisely moments like this. The White House should be above this type of demeaning party politics.
But that is all that President Intern knows.
