What is there not to like about France?
Aside from hairy female armpits, daily strikes and pompous attitudes, that is.
The country is a slice of Heaven on Earth. Ignore their active rejection and passive disgust at most things Anglo, they’re just trying to accept having their bacon rescued twice in the last century and their slide down the global order. Still.
But don’t underestimate the French due to this. President Sarkozy, a man who has already proven beyond dispute that miracles are indeed possible, has again conjured up a little magic, claiming that President Obama is “unoriginal, unsubstantial and overrated.”
You feel that, BO? Do you feel that? You feel it, don’cha?
Yeah, baby, that is the inevitable onset of reality, crushing your flimsy claims – propagated by many and believed by many more – to be able to talk the world’s problems into submission.
Boo-ya!
It’s a good job that the president has such unshakable confidence in himself.
He’s going to need it.
