Nadir Of Nadirs

In memory of the 1953 rebellion in East Germany, poet Bertolt Brecht wrote The Solution, which includes the lines:
- Stating that the people
- Had forfeited the confidence of the government
- And could win it back only
- By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
- In that case for the government
- To dissolve the people
- And elect another?
Right now, after news that Al Franken has won election to the Senate, I’m thinking that the people should be dissolved.
Why do people vote for obscene candidates whose only firm belief is in nothing?
We’re edging closer to the filibuster-proof Senate and the End Times.

A part of me says that the USA is just going to have to allow this madness to run its course. Like a bad cold, there’s no cure for it, but all we can do is live through it. Eventually our own immune system (the people) will fight back and overtake the virus that has infiltrated and infected our union.

..if the GOP and Mike Steele cannot wrest a majority in the house and senate from clowns like this and the presidency away from His Nibs, President Training Pants — especially with all of the rage out there now — then they are more limp-membered that I tought they were.

Great photo research, man.
It’s unfortunate that this picture is going to see heavy use for a few years, whenever that clown opens his pie hole.
