Freedom Is Not Free

Especially for conservatives.
If you thought that the report issued by Missouri’s Department of Public Safety (and issued to all law enforcement personnel in that state), which in essence labeled everyone with even the slightest conservative tendencies as potential terrorists, was bad enough, then think again.
Roger Hedgecock has the dirty on a new report, dated 7 April 2009, entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.”
It was issued by the DHS.
And it states that you are a “right wing extremist” if you do not fully agree with Obama policies on “immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms and use.”
Even worse is how it lays particular emphasis on the danger of returning veterans. Yeah, what have they ever done for us?
The DHS is advising that “intense scrutiny” of these people (you and I) take place, despite also conceding that membership in “right wing extremist” groups is in decline.
At they very least, this is profiling on a national scale involving the highest authorities in the land.
At worst, this is the blueprint for enacting in America the type of dictatorial policies that have always been associated with cesspits like China, Cuba and Soviet Russia.

It’s so shocking that you posted it twice!

Thank you, kireina, I’d overlooked that… It is that shocking but one post’ll do.

The Madness of King Obama has indeed reached the fever-pitched tone that usually precedes a revolutionary response from the people.

Well, during the Bush era and the warrantless wiretapping and violations of Constitutional protection against warrantless searches, the neo-coonservatives were fond of proclaiming “if you’ve done nothing wrong, then you’ve nothing to worry about”.
-
Shouldn’t that same mindset hold true today? Or has the morbidity of hypocrisy come home to the practitioners of that black craft?
-
So, what’s the problem? Take it like real men and quit whining.

Joe Heathen,
In case you haven’t read it, President Obama is continuing those same wiretap policies.
Can you not see any difference between that more general policy and this highly focused one? Anyone who does not share the views of the president is being labeled an extremist.
And, by the way, it’s really not a wonderful argument to say that one side is doing something bad in response to the other side having previously done something bad.
That immature, are we?

Thanks for this invaluable information, Track. I just found your blog through a link someone posted at the Telegraph.
MIAC and DHS coming simultaneously to identical conclusions? What a coincidence …not!
April 15th, 2009 at 09:29
Joe Heathen – Take it like a man! Obama wants to continue wiretapping, but with Janet “I hate men” Napolitano on the job, I’m sure that me and the other neocon members of the vast right wing consipiracy will be targeted as extreme terrorists. Gotta love the double standard that you libs out there exhibit day in and day out!!!!!
April 16th, 2009 at 11:38
Hey, if you haven’t done anything wrong, then you don’t have anything to worry about. Right?
-
That’s what all the neo-coonservatives said about the Patriot Act and invited anyone to monitor their telephone calls and Internet activity. Suddenly, their “rights” are being trampled upon?
-
Jesus, do those dolts know what hypocrisy is? Can’t they just eat the big serving of crow they cooked for themselves? Whatta bunch of whiners. They sure didn’t seem to care about anyone’s rights five and six years ago.

Joe Heathen,
You don’t seem to be aware of this, but you’ve just repeated exactly what you wrote in your previous comment.
The way a discussion normally goes is that you make a point, I make a point, you make a point, and so on.
Thing is, Leftists are so narrow-minded that, like you, they almost always get stuck after the initial round and resort to simply repeating themselves ad nauseam.
