Proof, finally, of both President Obama’s sound personal judgment and of the proper functioning of the White House vetting procedure.
A pity, then, that this proof is a pet dog and not a better Treasury Secretary.
I love doggy-dogs, don’t get me wrong. Always had one around, except for this last year in DC. But this dog must’ve gone through the most extensive vetting process evah.
Can you imagine the prerequisites? What is the dog’s ethno-religious background? To which social strata does its family belong – oppressed or oppressor? Has it ever taken discriminatory actions against others? How significant will its contributions to climate change be? Etc.
That stifling, politically correct mindset sure does take the fun out of everything.
Except raising taxes.

wouldn’t it be hilarious if the dog were discovered to have cheated on it’s taxes. sounds like a great parody.
