Feeling The Heat
These economic truths should be self-evident:
1) A nation cannot sue its way to prosperity.
2) A nation cannot redistribute its way to prosperity.
3) A nation cannot stupid its way to prosperity.
But they’re not.
Each is practiced by members of the Democratic Party and, taken together, they form the central tenets of the Democrats’ economic policy.
The US budget deficit now stands about 45 cents away from hitting the $1 trillion-mark, three times what it was this time last year.
But no doubt President Obama will attract no criticism for this. The only ones who protest will be the usual suspects: xenophobes, gun-nuts, religious fanatics, baby-eaters, racists and meanies.
