Blow Them Out Of The Water
Not every solution needs to be sophisticated. Some are wonderfully simple.
The economy’s going down the tubes? Lower taxes. Government’s not functioning as it should? Cut it down. Crime’s on the rise? Build more prisons.
Unfortunately, the Left hates simple solutions.
Because, as concisely as I can be, simple solutions need little oversight by the federal government, much less vast new bureaucracies in order to be implemented. They increase individual freedom while restricting the reach of government.
Which is entirely contrary to the aims of the Left, desirous as it is of nothing less than the penetration of every aspect of our public and private lives. Why do what has been proven to work as opposed to what we think might work?
The solution to the current piracy plague is equally straightforward.
We drop bombs on their heads.
If they have hostages, we gain their release by promising absolutely anything, and then we drop bombs on their heads.
And, just for good measure, we finally drop more bombs on their by now smithereened heads.

Democrats hate simple solutions, because if applied correctly, you don’t need additional Democrat solutions. This hurts their self esteem.
