Offensively Inoffensive

President Obama, despite strenuous attempts by President Sarkozy, declined to visit the American Cemetery in Normandy, where nearly 10,000 American war dead are buried.
He did this, supposedly, to avoid giving offense to Germany.
Germany is a mature country, one that has fully accepted its culpability for World War II and repented for it. Germany is harder on itself for the atrocities committed by Hitler than anyone else.
President Obama is maddeningly cautious, terrified of being perceived to slight the soul of a single person (and, in particular, the Saudi tyrant). Insecurity, much? Paying his respects to American war dead would not have angered Germany in the slightest – how could it?
Instead, he chose to give deep offense to the US, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France and the other countries involved in Operation Overlord.
Or could it be something else? President Obama is so militantly pacifist that he makes John Kerry, and his “global test”, look like a bloodthirsty savage. In refusing to honor the war dead, President Obama only underscores his disdain for both the military and America’s past.

The mainstream media wouldn’t do it. So we are trying to get your important messages to the American people. This post is a suggested read at, http://aresay.blogspot.com/

..remember that sack Clinton having the good fortune of the 50th anniversary of D-Day falling within his tenure of office? All he did was pose and posture. (I am remembering the photo-op contemplative beach walk where he made the conveniently-placed stones into a cross.)
Nothing special here from me, just a dem-hating rant I guess. But it amazes me how Carter, Clinton, Kerry, The Alleged Hawaiian, and most of that crowd get it consistently wrong when it comes to remembering the sacrifices some made for liberty and freedom around the globe and how they fail to impress that on other world leaders.
Maybe Obasma had to work in a couple of hours in the gym perfecting his jumper.

Voyska PVO,
Please, vent away – that’s pretty much all that I’m doing here.
Reckon you’re spot on about what President Obama chose to do instead of visiting the American Cemetary.
Hope’n'change.

Yes, another example of Obama’s priorities for our nation. While our men lie forever entombed in the French soil, Obama bows to a Saudi king and then has the AUDACITY to tell the world that America is not a Christian nation, not a Jewish nation, not a Muslim nation. There sure are a lot of crosses and Stars of David in the old cemetery, perhaps too many for Obama to escape being photographed in front of. Please…wake me up from this nightmare!!!!!

Sandy,
I’m with you. It’s not going to end anytime soon, though…

I expect Obama to bow to Ahmadinejad next.

Only if he’s taller than Ahmadinejad, though.
What kind of a lame excuse was that?

Obama makes any excuses he can! Perhaps we should ask him to mount his polluted administration onto one of those missiles headed out to space with the intention of curbing global warming?
