Not Quite A Level Playing Field

A federal judge has ruled that Tommie Broadwater Jr. (who, if the 1980s could be reincarnated as a person, would be him), a former Democratic Maryland state senator, used his influence to get a law passed in 2005 that would have shut down all of Prince George’s County nudie bars.
Except for the two owned by him.
Well done! While deserving some slight praise for so assiduously pursuing the best interests of his business, this isn’t quite how it should be done.
Strike another blow against the formerly upstanding reputation enjoyed by those pillars of the local community, strip joint owners.
