Either way, Sen. Benjamin Cardin is the latest intellectual midget to make a grab for the limelight. His brainchild is the so-called Newspaper Revitalization Act, which would allow newspaper companies to restructure as nonprofits with a variety of tax breaks.
Spot on with the “nonprofits” part, at least.
Speaker Pelosi has already given her two cents’ worth on this topic, suggesting that competition rules be bent (i.e. obliterated) to accommodate the propagators of Democratic untruths.
Someone should really get a hold of public libraries as well.
There are way too many shades of opinion available there.
